The Sun and any other newspaper know absolutely nothing.

Not always true though. We’ve seen first hand how easily information can be leaked.

If they report on enough rumours some of them are bound to come true. I'd say the amount of stuff they run with is of the very vast majority either them passing on other rumours, or completely made up.

KT doesn't want to go, he's happy where he is and unless Celtic explicitly tell him that they need him to go, then he'd prefer to stay. Reporters can write whatever they want, citing unnamed club sources but the truth is its all speculation. KT wants to be part of 10 in a row before he leaves, Celtic would then get big money for him and KT could go on and play anywhere in world

If he does go I think he deserves some serious credit and respect. He has behaved impeccably in this and it has allowed Celtic to have a very clear stance and maximise the fee.

NEIL LENNON insists Celtic will not be caught cold if Arsenal make a late move for Kieran Tierney.

The £25million-rated left-back has been the subject of two failed bids from the Gunners but Lennon confirmed he has already drawn up contingency plans in case the 22-year-old is prised away from his boyhood club.

SunSport exclusively revealed today that the EPL side have reopened talks about the Scotland international but Unai Emery has just 13 days to make the move happen before the Premier League transfer deadline on August 8.

But with Scottish clubs able to continue signing players up to September 2, Hoops boss Lennon is confident he has enough time to reinvest in his squad should Arsenal return to the table with an acceptable offer.

Speaking at the Celtic Festival, Lennon said: “We obviously have contingency plans and have worked out other options if that worst-case scenario were to happen.

“So yes, having that extra two or three weeks later on in the window may be beneficial but as far as I’m aware there have been no (more bids).”

Lennon is desperate to keep hold of Tierney but admits he has no idea if he will get his wish.

“There’s a lot of speculation obviously and that’s going to rumble on.

I’ve been answering the same questions over and over in every press conference.

“It is as we were a week ago. Two bids have been in, two bids have been rejected and that’s where we are.

“How confident am I he’ll still be a Celtic player come the end of the window? Well, you can never say never.

“You can’t predict these things. If there is interest in him then other clubs may come in or Arsenal may come again. I can’t predict that.

“At the minute he’s working away in the background and it’s difficult for him to keep focused at the minute because he’s only human but we’re supporting him all we can

Tierney remains sidelined after his double hernia operation but his absence did not hurt Celtic’s Champions League hopes as they hammered Nomme Kalju 5-0 on Wednesday.

I think it's clear as day that both parties are happy for him to go this window..

Lenny can keep saying he doesn't want to lose him but I keep reading and hearing bits that make me think different..

We * it up the minute we asked for £25m imo. Despite all drawn out negotiations you can guarantee Arsenal we’re surprised and delighted to hear that was our price. Supposedly at least.
