Will we win the league before the Scottish Cup this season.

I’ll ask again seeing as you’re now deflecting, what has changed to make you think Celtic won’t win the league? Now please don’t base it on two performances at ibrokes which had absolutely no influence on where the League title ended up.

 

I think we will win it more comfortably this coming season. 12-15 points.

That won’t stop my knee * reactions being up and down like a hoors drawers during the course but thats life as a Celtic fan

The 4 games against sevco will be decide the league as I don't think they will drop the stupid points like last season so we need more quality in .

Now we are getting somewhere you think the 4 games against the monkeys will decide the title, that still doesn’t explain your daft 5 quality players statement does it? Because I don’t exactly see the massive gulf that the huns have against us in quality. We are still the best side in the country as in quality of player and squad, I think you are mixing up quality and quantity tbh.

 

Look at Chris Sutton column today he's saying what I'm saying we need more quality signings in and if you think we just go what we have you have your head in the sand .

Ok could have been a earlier column but will say it again the squad does need more signings and two for the midfield is a must .

 

The league will be won before we enter the Scottish Cup. I wouldn't be surprised if we had it as good as wrapped up before we enter the League Cup.

 

You said we need 5 quality signings, and where did I say I was happy to go with what we have. I stated the defence needs strengthening but I still feel we are the best squad in Scotland. For a laugh tell me the 5 key areas you think we need players for?

 

It's to do with the SFA and the fact that they requested Euro 2020 matches and got them which means the Scottish Cup Final had to be moved to May 9th. Not really the SPL's fault.

With the current squad I think we'll win the league but it won't be a walk in the park. Possibly a bit similar to last season. I'll hold judgement for now though as a couple of signings can make a huge difference.

More than anything I just want to see us playing the same kind of free flowing football we saw in Brendan's first season. I couldn't care less if we're not invincibles. I just want that swagger back.

 

I would say it depends on the coming weeks and who we bring in. This squad will most likely be playing across four competitions and midweek European games until at least Christmas. I don't think the huns will have that conundrum this season and they could capitalise on our squad being stretched thin after our Euro games. They would need to show greater consistency as well which I think they will but ultimately it comes down to what we do and with a few quality additions we should be well ahead of them come seasons end.
