    I think Lenny will give him plenty of game time and it's up to Mikey to grab the chance and make the most of it, he is an exciting player with great ability.

    Mikey Johnston won’t feature against the French side after picking up an injury against Sarajevo.

    Lennon admits that’s a blow, given that the 20-year-old attacker is on the verge of nailing down a regular place.

    He said: “Mikey will miss the second leg with a thigh strain.

    “It’s nothing serious and he’ll be back available for the next round should we get there.

    “Losing Mikey is a blow because he’s done really well. Thankfully, it’s not big issue.

    “He should be back in a week to ten days and that’s important.



    Mikey isn’t young anymore. He’s 20 and when do you stop calling them boys?

    “He’s a man now and we feel that he should really be kicking on.

    “This is a big season for him and he’s started in the right vein.

    “He’s a talent. He has the game to play for Celtic and you saw that with his goal in Sarajevo.

    “I hope it won’t be one of those stop-start seasons for him with niggly injuries.

    “We touched on conditioning with him and he’s worked hard over the summer.

    “It’s just a question of keeping him fit but James Forrest had similar issues when he was coming through.”

    I think he is gona be a standout this season. He looks like a really talented dribbler of the ball.
    Im gona go out there and say he could make us forget about Paddy Roberts.

    He's not ready yet. Needs to be loaned out for me.

    Doesn't enjoy it when it becomes physical which it does alot for us.

    Guess that's your opinion and fair enough mate, but Edouard doesn't particularly like the physical side of it imo,takes some roughhouse treatment and we ain't loaning him out. Johnston is ready right now. Hope he's back in amongst it soon. This could be an absoloutely mammoth season for him.

    Ok then sorry....... I forgot nobody else entitled to an opinion. Watched him countless times go hiding when the game got rough and he didn't have the usual room to run at players.

    I dunno, he scored a goal playing probably the dirtiest team in the qualifiers, didn't look phased at all.

    I'm all for loaning players out but I think MJ is at the point where he should be fighting for a start with us. If he hasn't managed that by the winter break then look to loan him.
