Think you’ve mixed Malmo and Maribor up as well :giggle1:

Tweet from Clyde SSB saying we could only draw.

    Qarabag/Dundalk
    Maribor/AIK
    Red Star/Helsinki

Means we would avoid PAOK, Cluj/Maccabi, Valletta/Ferencváros.

    Hopefully true.

Would be ideal to avoid Red Star from those 6 teams.

Good stuff, PAOK and Cluj were probably the two best teams.

I'd actually take Red Star they seem to play attacking football and play quite open which would suit us to get goals off them even though they'd be more dangerous would also be a good trip for fans. Teams like Qarabag and Maribor/AIK will probably be very defensive when they play us.

    Agreed lads.

If I could have handpicked it I’d probably only swap out Red Star/Helsinki for Ferencváros/Valletta

I'd far rather play a defensive team than one that presses us. I watched a bit of Red Star the other night, and they're useful. I could imagine that Boakye turning our defence. Thinking about our team in that atmosphere, I don't want any part of it really.

Any of the others is about as good as we could hope for at this stage. Glad to avoid PAOK for sure.

Aye to be fair checking their recent Europea results they are quite good. Last 2 season they've knocked out Salzburg, Krasnodar and Sparta Prague, beat Liverpool, beat Koln home and away, drew with Arsenal, CSKA Moscow and Napoli. Seem to be better now than the previous seasons to that.

    * that, Maribor/AIK or Qarabag actually :fear:

If we get through this round I'd want Maribor cause they'll be sooo overconfident if we get Berget to Tweet he's rejoined us :97:

They don't split it into groups at this stage. We can play any of the unseeded teams.

No point worrying about any of those teams if we want to get to the group stages and see European football after Christmas. As good a team as they were last season, we will be playing much better teams than PAOK.

Still want the easiest games possible.

Rosenborg knocking out Ajax, Rijeka knocking out PSV, Red Star knocking out Salzburg, these results happen every season never mind teams like PAOK just to reach the final play off.

Give me the easiest route to the CL Group Stage then we can stop caring about who we draw once we‘re there.
