    I have to agree, we would be 2 or 3 key players getting injured away from struggling to fill key positions. We shipped out a load of * now let’s use the saved money to sort out badly neglected areas of our squad.

    I hate pointing fingers or alotting naivety... but are some members on here actually CONTENT with our transfer situation right now?

    2 and a half year * search for a proper right back?

    Are there actually people so blind to the absolute amatuerism thats infecting our transfer business?

    This was an obvious problem a whole * year ago when a weak AEK Athens side put us out and then proceeded to be the worst team in the whole group stages!!!

    And still they dither......it would * burst you, it really would!!

    Still got enough to win the league??......i think so but it's arguably a closer call now!!

    Not true. We had one sitting on about £20k a week in the reserves and spent £1.5m on another who our manager explained as such:

    “From the first time seeing him close up, I said right after the game to the scouts and the board that he’s a player,” Rodgers said. “He’s perfect for us.


    “He played in the game that we won 1-0 on the outside of a back three, and he was exceptional. Then going back and watching the game again, he was very good.

    “I didn’t know of him at all until he played against us at Parkhead. I’d seen videos of him leading up to us playing them, and I obviously knew he wasn’t at Dundee the year before.

    “You very quickly see that he has speed and technique, and these are the attributes that I like in my team.”

    We need to get them in pronto tho mate, or we are gambling unnecessarily with CL qualification (again). The 3rd round and qualifying round shouldn't be debuts.
