Five and a half weeks to go to the end of the window, like last season surely we have time to find a replacement (if it hasn't already been identified in the isreal boy).

But this is Celtic and scouting so * knows. We will need 3 years at least to replace.

I'm thinking more of the next round of CL. If we had someone on the cusp of signing then I'd sell Jozo but to do so before we find a replacement is suicidal.

 

We don't need any new money to buy the players we need, it's finding those players that's the problem and surely his value won't change dramatically before next summer so we should keep him and focus on getting our critical positions filled.

How some folk are rating Bitton as a defender I'll never know, just can't see it. I like him and his style but at his best he's a good midfielder. Any players with pace will ruin him plus we got rid of RBs who are better in defence.

 

Nope, I'd keep him.

 

I can see why people would want to sell tbh.

He picks up lots of niggles. We are away to Hamilton, Killie and Livingston 6 times this season that’s him ruled out every one of those matches as he has been advised he really shouldn’t play on plastic. He is prone to a brain fart like anyone but he is a ticking time bomb at times

Nah, they bought Weah who has done * all for about £10m, so they can pay the same for Jozo who's got a lot more experience and in good form.

I would rather not sell but think if true he'd maybe angle for a move, but it'll once again * the defence up if it can't be * up any more.

 

5m-7m would get a good replacement, only it won't with the way we do business. We'll * about and then the last day of the window buy some makeshift squad filler.

Hate how we as fans have become transfixed on fees,.....Stop selling for * sake and build a team.

 

I agree but if you said to our fans sell KT to cover spending as that’s what we do or sell Ntcham, Jozo and Sinclair most would go for the latter

It would be a huge risk to Punt during CL qualification.

Defo accept the Lille offer. Honestly never really took to him.

 

I'm really on the fence with him in general, when he puts together a run of games he's defintely good enough but his fitness is a real issue, and still prone to moments of madness as seen the other week when he brained that guy during a friendly.

If it was last minute like dembele/boyata last summer I'd say no without a second though, but if we have targets there's plenty of time to find a replacement this window so it's tempting.

 

I'd sell he's looks good for a few games but always gets injured, or has a brain fart, or he can't play on a plastic pitch. He hasn't really pushed on from his good season a couple of years ago. Should have developed into a leader, but instead isn't even first choice.

 

The thing is with Jozo you just can't rely on him. No matter how well he's playing or how calm he appears that mad moment or that nervy mistake is just around the corner. He was good at the end of last season but away in Sarajevo he was all over the place. Injury-prone too. Whether to sell him or not all boils down to his replacement really, if I had more faith in our current recruitment team I'd sell but I honestly worry about who would be his successor.

 

Not for me. I'd like him to stay. We aren't really blessed with great cover there so, unless a replacement is already lined up, I would keep him.

 

There’s a player in there but his concentration is awful a lot of the time and prone to mistakes never mind injuries. Sell and buy another quality replacement.
