    Putting aside the fact he's pish and a scumbag, he would be nowhere near fit enough for the ties against Kalju. From that i would guess if he does join he's coming in as back-up, but that's still disappointing.

    Surely he can't be first choice? As i said earlier he won't be fit for either of the games against the estonians, might even miss out on the first leg of the third round, i wouldn't put it past celtic to disappoint me mind you.

    Also this has broke from the sun, so far this window they have made up an imaginary 5 million bid for Mckenna from us and said arsenal bid 25 million up front for tierney, they are absolute garbage tier for rumours

    He's completely finished as a player, i hope he comes nowhere near us but he might see us as a more tempting option than whatever else he's been offered down south, even as a back-up.

    Mind you i could just be making up reasons to prepare myself for his arrival :90:

    I don't think he would..

    He'd also want a decent wage off the back of an EPL Leicester one and could comfortably get it in the Championship..

    I never rated him in his prime and if we were to offer him a deal, time he got up to speed he'd be closing in on 33..

    Everyone has known about Simpson from before the end of last season... if we are only now just offering him a trial it just looks a bit like we have explored all other avenues and this was the back up plan.

    Not against it IF we were getting another RB in as well but cant see it.
