I miss him and his celebrations, sometimes he would go wild (Aberdeen) or just casually run past the fans, I liked his bow and arrow celebration he had for a season as well :giggle1:

Isn’t he a director for a Greek club now?

Frustrating as *. Could be unplayable one minute... then dribble the ball straight out of play without any pressure the next.

    Great hair!

As mentioned, his game suited having space to run into which he didn't really get domestically.

But shows why he could such a useful asset to have in Europe.

Even if after dribbling it 40 yards up the pitch, he just ended up booting it straight out of play with all the grace of a baby giraffe learning how to rollerskate, at the end of the day, it got us up the pitch and revlied some pressure.

He was massively frustrating at times but he still provided some amazing moments for us and you could tell he loved it here.

I honestly think that at his best, he was far better than you depict there and at his worst, far worse.

Probably the most polarised absolute genius/total waste of a jersey player I've seen in a Celtic shirt.

Loved him to bits, never a dull moment with Sammy, will never forget his overhead kick in the Aberdeen game and when he decided to start dribbling in our box late on playing Barca, think I didn't breathe for the next 5 minutes :eek1: :drag:

He should be asked back for the 10 in a row in my opinion.

@Swervedancer. Remembering the Barca dribble sent a shiver down my spine.

Without a shadow of doubt played a significant part in this past decade of dominance.
