    Celts supporters also got a glimpse of new defender Chris Jullien with Kennedy satisfied with his display.

    He added: “He is one who had a period off longer than some of the other players.

    “He arrived late to our training camp as well so for him it’s about getting the fitness and sharpness back.

    “He is a big guy who obviously takes a bit of time to get going when his fitness is down.

    “But in terms of where he was when he came in, and where he is now, we’re seeing a big difference in his he’s moving.

    “We’ll continue to work on that but he’s now had a game under his belt and comes into contention for Wednesday and we’ll look at that early in the week.”

    This guy and Ajer at CB once everyone is fit is a * of a prospect... that's got to be the sexiest CB pairing we've had for a while, right? I mean we've had *-like individuals, such as Virgil; but I can't think of any pairings we've had. Jozo and Boyata... Virgil and Denayer... Efe and Kelvin Wilson... McManus and Heid...

    Only Virgil and Denayer comes close, surely.
