If KT goes for 25 million, I’d like to see at least 15 million reinvested immediately on a RB, CM, ST and CB

We need to be going higher mate.

I'd rather 15m was used on bringing in two quality players, than signing four for the same price.

We do need more than two players of course, but if genuinely want quality, we have to be aiming high and be prepared to pay high.

If KT and Ntcham go, that would be 35m. The whole of that amount needs to go back into the team. No ifs or buts.

You're right, but I just can't see it happening. Most likely we'll do what we always do, try and scrape into the CL with what we've got, and if we don't make it KT will be sold to offset the loss.

    * the board.

If the club are intent on selling KT then I'd rather it was done quickly.

More likely, the club would be content for this to drag on until the end of the window. Pretending that we did everything we could to hold onto him, then sell him at the last minute - with a ready-made excuse for why we couldn't reinvest the money... "it was too late".

I'd take Armstrong back for a reasonable price.

Cost of the player doesn't mean success but I do agree it gives us a bigger scope.

I do believe 15m could get us 4 players if we scout and source well, but that's where I have my doubts. Getting them players over the line.

For example 3m on the new LB looks decent business and especially if it's to compete for LB slot with KT

And ironically I felt the 4.5m spent on Ntcham was decent business at the time because he came with good pedigree and felt he could improve and do well for us. Also cause Dembele was flying and at the time I felt the snake could do no wrong. Even including wages we will make profit for the sulky *.

Sinclair would be in that bracket to, player bought with that 4 players for 15m range. Who I was excited about at the time and felt he could give us extra quality in the final third.

But issue is 4 players enough. Assuming KT stays and that's potentially 50/50 but we move on Ntcham for 10m which is roughly what we have spent to date.

    We need first choice keeper

    2 right backs

    Centre back

    defensive midfielder

    Playmaker/number 10

    Striker

That is 7 players. And if KT goes that's 8 players.

There's no way we will bring them all in.

But that's where Lenny talking about trimming the squad comes into effect

We won't sign a goalkeeper unless we move Gordon on

We won't get a second right back till we sign the first one and put Ralston out on loan

Won't sign another centre half till we sell Hendry

That defensive midfielder won't be signed till we move on Ntcham. Personally feel another needs to go too. Happy to move both Bitton and Eboue on.

Playmaker won't be signed unless we move two attack minded midfielders on. Two out of Morgan Hayes Sinclair would be my choices

Which in my view we can only sign a right back and striker without shifting guys out the door.

But it's unprofessional of ourselves to not have signed a right back by now.

It would have been enough to say at this point our transfer window is progressing well to what it currently is as sub-standard
