    Personally don't think it's surprising at all? He wants to play at the highest level and challenge himself.

    Is he still a Celtic fan? Yes. Will he still come back & watch games? Of course.

    I don't understand why people get surprised that he wants to play in the PL. * for us but he was always going to leave.

    Any money in the world that ‘his heart’ is not set on playing in the Premier League.

    How many variations of that very statement does he have to say for folk to believe it. His heart was set on playing for Celtic, nothing else.

    Over and above that, actions speak louder than words. He’s done nothing to intimate that he isn’t a Celtic diehard living his dream.

    Tierney should be getting a bumper Premier league contract from Lawell. £60,000 a week,still play for Scotland, potentially champions league, Europe and club legend status if we win the ten. Two more years. He'll move for 35 million in two years time.

    25 million is a good deal for a guy who has been overplayed to the point of breakdown for 5 years straight and hasn't thrived in Europe.
    Of course the fee could be 500 million and Celtic wouldn't spend anyway.
    I think theres more than a 50% chance he'll leave and am fairly certain Boli was his replacement.

    The board will be unhappy this has all been so public as now every team with a right back we want is doubling their price. Tierney should go with everyone's best wishes and not be slagged for being money grabbing snake.

    I'd like to see if he can cut it weekly in the prem like Robbo has, if he stays fit.and improves his defending no doubt he can succeed.

    I think you’re vastly overestimating what it takes to cut it down there.

    Last seasons best player in the Premiership cane from up here. Last seasons best player in the championship was a complete flop up here.

    Tierney would stand out in an Arsenal side largely devoid of anyone who actually gives a *. Even the club captain has ditched the pre-season tour.
