    Unless we don’t know the full details of what they’re wanting. For all we know it’s £2.5m upfront, add ons and a 50% sell on fee.

    I’m the last * to stick up for the board but we’ve been swift in all our transfer dealings so far and they’ve involved quite a bit of money.

    Aye you are correct it’s a fair wedge but when you look at what we have brought in finance wise since January 2018 (transfers and compensation) and today and what we have paid out it’s small in comparative terms

    I’m not arguing that point mate, I’m saying the way we’ve dealt with our business so far is to go in, get the bid over and done with and talk to the player.

    If it’s not happening here I’ll leave the board a bit of leeway, if it’s this way end of the transfer window that’s when they’ll get it in the throat.
