    People used to say Ronaldo wasn't good enough when he was at Man U. That he was greedy etc

    It's also probably the people that slagged his performance against the Huns... you know twice when he was thrown in out of the blue and once at centre forward ffs

    This guy is not going to be great. He will be A GREAT.

    Only if he isn’t going to get enough game time, personally can’t see that happening but he needs 30+ games this season to help him kick on.

    I think he can get that as long as we pick the correct opportunities to use him.

    He's perfect for being up against teams that sit with 10 men behind the ball at Parkhead. He's direct, can turn on a dime, can shoot with either foot and has decent vision.

    At this moment I wouldn't start him in games against the likes of Hearts at Tynecastle or Ibrox where they will send out 10 thugs to blooter him at every opportunity, without any protection from the referee.

    Get him on the Ryan Christie protein shake diet and get him bulking up and filling out. At that point he'll be able to cope with games against the more 'physical' :rolleyes: teams in the league.

    All three played well last evening. I value Sinky's experience and record. Could be important throughout season.

    I reckon last night is evidence he can do it away, with teams sitting in. Previously I would have disagreed, going with his performances last season, thrown in at the deep end like you mention. I was surprised with him last night, and think he definitely has a role to play this season - it's a big season for him and I think he can make himself a first team regular, but again, agree with you that playing away against teams who will set out to tackle heavy shouldn't happen.

    The difference is that last night we had impartial Swedish officials refereeing the game.

    With the likes of Beaton, Madden, Clancy, Dallas etc. it would be open season on him. We need to protect the boy because they certainly won't.

    From what I have seen so far, MJ starts on the left wing! So many options and its great, but MJ starts for me. Hard to leave Sinclair out though...
