KT without doubt is one of us, like others have stated, he bleeds this club. Standing in with the fans watching games when not playing and such a rapport with the fans. All the more strange then that at 22 and with the club on the verge of creating history he should decide that he doesn't want to be a part of that and would rather go to the EPL and compete for cl spots with the gooners.

 

I haven’t been a negative * we know bids will be coming for ntcham, Rogic and tierney. If you read the thread I am the one who thinks he is crazy to leave and have looked at it objectively as a Celtic fan playing for the club

 

But does he want to do that? Is the club forcing him out by inviting bids? No-one knows they have came out and said McGregor isn’t for sale at any price why not do the same with KT?

 

Have we even had any bids for Ntcham, Rogic or McGregor? It’s just paper talk atm.

Agree but I reckon I’d go with my heart and stay. I can barely stand going a summer without seeing Celtic let alone being a player that decides to leave.

Gonna be mixed emotions if he decides to leave but it will make a mockery of his comments about ‘for the cause’.

You need two quality players and a prospect for every position.

If we sell KT, I'd want two Lbs brought in and Connelly as the prospect to deputise. Would loan Church this season.

Hopefully KT stays we are in the driving seat and with one addition on its way and a player in Connell who can play there we are looking good.

Same can't be said for the RB berth, we still need one immediately and another before the window closes.

 

Absolute nonsense, if he wanted to be off he had plenty of opportunities before now and he had no need to sign new contract with us either. Some of the guff on this thread is embarrassing.

Opportunity every window to leave I'd imagine, not gonna pretend I'm one of the ITK twats but any player that wants to leave can force a move if they want. Just think it's pretty horrible the way some folksa re talking about the young boy just because of some rumours on social media. As things stand he's a Celtic player and a die hard fan and as such I think he deserves a bit of support and not abuse.

I agree that some of the comments from people are OTT but I don't see much wrong with the one you took umbrage with. If there have been any previous bids for Tierney then they've certainly not been publicised by either the bidding club or ourselves.

KT is still a contracted celtic player and has any one thought that the club could want to punt him theyve stated the asking price of £25 mill.......football is business

 

Bringing a quality left back in doesnt mean KT is away. It means we will have competition and will help KT push on to another level, everyone needs pushed to maintain their levels let alone increase them . But with a quality LB coming in, it allows Lenny to rest KT knowing he has quality and reliability coming in. KT has been suffering burn out by being overplayed, he has become more prone to picking up injuries.As said, we need quality cover in every position, no point in having a squad full of players that cannot be relied upon.

 

I'm not engaging any chat of him leaving until he leaves.
