I still just can't see him wanting to leave when he could be part of the 10 in a row team, unless the club are trying to push a move.

There comes a point when the board simply can't dismiss the amount offered for Tierney. If/when that moment comes, and if Tierney decides to leave, it will be interesting to see if KT will be villainized. I'm predicting he won't, yet endorsments for a potential big money move are being criticised.

There's no time to leave that doesn't have at least some impact; but the consensus is that the end of the season is the least bad. Especially with prior warning.

Regarding investment, it takes a lot of work to identify signings and get them over the line. Work that he and his mate did not put in last summer.

Probably the board aren't 100% blameless; but whatever way you look at it, the two situations (KT and Rodgers) are not equivalent.

A true cult hero for us as he is basically one of us playing in the hoops. Bleeds green and white. It would be really sad that he wouldn't get a proper send off from the fans. Nevermind we would all wish him well however * it would be. This club will make and sign greats again. Next season looks to be...

I honestly thought out of all the players to play for us he was gonna be the one to be a one club man, trying to think back to the last player i was truly gutted to see leave and it was Larsson, feel bad for the young fans who idolise him they are in for a disappointment when he leaves!

I didn't think he would have entertained leaving till we had a crack at the ten.

I'm not a professional footballer, never was going to be one, ......but this is the thing I don't understand, and I know I'll take stick for this.

Even though he loves the club, is one of us, bleeds green etc. etc...at the age of 22 he's thinking about * off. It's something I can't comprehend, the team you have loved all your days, being paid handsomely, winning medals galore, about to be a legendary history maker, but then offski if the rumours are to be believed.

Folk say it's a short career, yeah but he is just a baby with many years left.....I don't believe he is being pushed out and if so, he is well within his rights to say * off.

    The world confuses simplistic me!

Napoli apparently going to blow Arsenal offer our the water.

As I said today I wouldn’t leave but it is what it is.

If he goes it almost guaranteed we will be in profit from our spending this summer!

Tierney and Ntcham away £35m to £40m in bank no chance we will reinvest all of that!

NAPOLI are ready to make their move to take Kieran Tierney to Italy — as they prepare to outbid Arsenal for the Celtic star.

SunSport can reveal the Serie A cracks are planning a major swoop for the Hoops left-back within the next 48 hours.

Boss Neil Lennon, though, insisted the only bid on the table for Tierney is the rejected £15m offer from Arsenal — but the Hoops are bracing themselves for Napoli’s approach.

Reports in Italy confirmed boss Carlo Ancelotti is planning to push ahead with his pursuit of the Scotland defender.

It’s expected the offer will blow the Gunners’ bid out of the water.

Lennon admitted: “We have a price for our player.

He’s on a long-term contract and we won’t sell him for anything less than we feel is the right price. In terms of where he is mentally, it’s got to be unsettling for him, it’s only natural.

They’ve signed a keeper, centre half and right back for 60 million so far.

Can see them bidding 20 to 25 easily for KT. Ancelotti has targeted a new defence and he’s getting what he wants.

If he goes, he goes. No man is bigger than the club.

We have lost far more important players in the past and kept things going.

Hopefully things are concluded one way or another soon enough and if he does go we can get to work on strengthening the squad with another huge windfall. We could do without distractions at this point.

Cant understand why we would be willing to let him go. Hes very close to being our captain.

    This..

I'm no gonna slate the wee man one bit but if he goes, he'll want to go..

He's a terrific player but he's been * all of this season and in to this. That definitely softens the blow for me, as well as the fund's for the rebuild..

The quicker this is done, the better. That goes for Ntcham as well..

I'll be sorry to see him go and wish him well. He's one of us and that won't change..
