Badge kisser as in he isn't a supporter of the club? Nah, don't think so. What makes you think that?

Badge kisser in terms of him revelling in the attention he gets as 'one of our own', maybe, but that's being harsh. Regardless of that I don't think that when he leaves - whether that's this season or further down the line - it'll prove anything other than the higher wages tempted him and he wants to progress in his career, or wants a new challenge.

Something we always need to remember, very few players think about the game the same way fans do. Being involved in football as your day job tends to make it lose the romanticism, even Charlie Mulgrew alluded to the fact that even as a Celtic supporter, players often feel the need for a new challenge. It's the same as you or I getting sick of our own jobs from time to time. Now, we're all aware that there's the chance of the ten, and it's easy enough to understand why any Celtic fan who plays for the club would want to be a part of that, but I don't think anyone could begrudge him if he does leave, despite how disappointing it would be.

KT is 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, undeniably, completely and utterly a Celtic diehard.

And any suggestion to the contrary is laughable.

Can't understand why club and Lenny won't come out and say he won't be sold at any price. We should have 50 million pound price tag on his head.
    * arsenal and there 15 million.

Hypothetical question but would leaving now, on the cusp of 10, change your opinion?

On the cusp of 9 but it would depend on the circumstances. I can’t see any set of them where he’s the one that instigated any move.

I just think that, given he has mentioned in the past he could be a one team man, in the current state of football, where there is very little loyalty if any left, it would transcend the legend. He would be the next generations Billy McNeil. The man who said no to the multi millions to stay and play for the club he loves.

He’s going no where he’s Celtic through and through. How many years has broony got left in him? 1/2 year max that armband will have his name on it already his dreams already come true put that band on his arm after next season and he will go no where the leader of the team you grew up supporting as a kid? At 22/23 and all yous are sitting sweating if he was to leave for a new challenge and what new challenge?? Go to arsenal play in Europa League can’t see them making no top next season. The challenge is already here win the 10 and be a legend after it

We all would love Tierney to stay for his entire career. From my point of view I’d like to see him move on and excel and progress as a player at the highest level. Playing in Scotland does limit how fast you improve as a player. That’s fact. If he ever moves on, hopefully we do hav him on a large long term contract which raises his value. It will improve our academy players value if we start to “sell the assets”. It’s the market we find ourselves in. If we can hav a young player for 4-5seasons in the first team then cash in, it will make the club stronger. If they stay longer like Forrest then it’s win win. The Celtic team can turn stale when we keep players for too long. I do think we miss the boat on some potential decent transfers. Bitton for example was rated quite highly & now not so much. Injuries and/or wanting to stay might of played a part. I don’t ever want the squad gutted every season but we should sell an asset every now and again. Feels like a lifetime ago we sold McGeady as an academy graduate.

    Agree with the sentiment...

But if you pay for Sky Sports you are funding the EPL and funding all those clubs like Arsenal that will disrespect our game and make insulting bids for the best players. The same tv companies pay a tiny fraction of their football budget for Scottish games and treat them as mere ‘fillers’ to the main event at best and a downright inconvenience the rest of the time.

I get that there are football fans who will watch anything whether it’s Celtic, an U21s, women’s game or Korean B League...

But Scottish football fans and particularly Celtic supporters should think carefully where they put their money when it comes to football on tv.

We wouldn’t burst the EPL bubble on our own - they’ll Do that themselves ... but we might just get a bit more independence for our own broadcasting and a better deal for it.

At the very least .. we could all feel content (and self respect) that we weren’t funding the EPL sides to buy our own players from us at cut-price deals just because they view us as inferior.

    ***
It’s a matter for discussion elsewhere - but Scotland has its own broadcasters.. and big clubs even have their own tv setups..
It shouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility for them, the clubs and the football associations to get together and create something that gives Scottish fans the games they want and keeps us independent of the very system that gets ever fatter at the expense of our game.
