Who is watching a few slices of this, who are you looking forward to seeing on the the old screen?,indeed is any of the Bhoys on here going?
For me the complete highlight should be The Cure headlining on Sunday. Other highlights for me are The Chemical Brothers,Idles,Pale Waves,This Is The Kit,Johnny Mar,Hot Chip and Kylie.
So let us see over the long Weekend how ya Bhoys rate the acts?

More of a fashion show than a music festival. The fact that one of the headliners has one record says it all.

Rather have an indoor gig with one band playing.

Maybe its an age thing but i dont like those outdoor festivals,i think they fill the line ups with one or two good bands and the majority of the other bands are *.

Iv watched some of the Glastonbury stuff on bbc and some of the lesser known bands are really rubbish.

It's a festival I've always wanted to go, but never have so far.

The line up is poor this year. Next year is the 50th anniversary and big things are expected.

I'm surprised just how much they are showing on the website. They've got a lot of stages.

They aren't covering the Avalon Stage for Frank Turner tonight.

    Who's that?

Genuinely given up with festivals in my "older" days. More so Brit ones that are the same guff year on year and are a complete rip off.
More costly than ever, yet on the whole the calibre of bands are worse.

Never forgive t in the park for their David Bowie/the darkness switcheroo.

Bowie pulls out last minute, folk have paid over 120quid a ticket and all they do is take the darkness and slap them as headliners...one album, a 6 month flash in the pan band - could tell that at the time.
Took the millions they made from not having to pay Bowie, and gave the fans * all back for it.

You know how bland and mainstream the whole event has become when the fkn ‘one show’ is being presented from there!

Went there years ago when you could just turn up or got a ticket once you knew who was on!

Now the thing sells out in a day and months before anybody (including the organisers) even knows who’s performing!

“Hello can I have 2 tickets for an event a year away in which I won’t know who I’ll be seeing or what I’m actually paying for?”

    “Certainly - that’ll be £280 please.”

    Aye... bargain !

Much prefer small venue gigs where you’re right in front of the band and there’s not a 20 foot guarded ‘no-go-zone’ to the stage even if you’re right at the front.

Stormzy. Tbf he pulled out a week before and there's absolutely no way they could've pulled in another big act at that stage as there's just too much involved, plus they'd have needed to be on tour and available.

T always had the flavour of the month way too high up the bill so was nothing new.

The mainstream one's are the same but the rock festivals do a good job of changing it up. Just a pity Download has basically abandoned the older acts which made the festival possible. Unsurprisingly this year is the quietest I've ever seen and I haven't missed one since 2007.

Ahh 120 for a ticket and much bigger bands too. Download is approaching 250 which is an absolute disgrace. Raising the price 10 each year is unjustifiable, especially with the lineups of nobodies these days.

Been buzzing to watch this all week.

Weather makes a massive difference, sitting out the back watching it on the laptop with a cider pretending I’m actually there.

I bought Charlatans first album some friendly in 1990 and thought it was great back then

now watching them live on BBC4 and Tim Burgess still thinks it's 1990 with that haircut and his dungarees remind me of Our Wullie
