The other lad has played 3/4 of a season at Motherwell.

I know KT has suffered last season with injuries but I wasn’t aware he had bad injuries every season since he started.

Just out of interest cause I can’t remember them off the top of my head, what where they and how long was he out for each season?

Just had a look and he has missed 41 games since 2015 but played 170 times

Worked out over 4 seasons 42.5 games a season, not too shabby for someone who has had bad injuries every season he has played.

If he's going to be out for 2 month then we're not signing him to fly him for expensive operations then pay him £150k for 2 month for nothing. Should be getting at least £200k cut off the deal, if not maybe even double that since it's a gamble.

Look at that Rivaldo Coetzee who we discovered needed an operation, we pulled out and another South African team signed him for £500k then he got an operation, was still goosed and got a 2nd and then only made his debut 17 month after signing for them, seems fine now and just back to playing regularly.

I expect it will be us wanting to make large chunk of the fee contingent on him recovering fully and playing a certain number of games next season, or over several seasons. Something along those lines.

 

Good to hear, it's all happened so fast that it's hard to keep up.

 

Wonder if there may end up being a clause in the deal?
Like normally you'd see one that is - Plays 30+ games = £1million add-on.
Perhaps we could get one in - Get's injured more than 3 times in 12 months or total length of time out is greater than 8weeks = fee reduced to £2million ?

Obviously would need to be done proper, doctor notes and the likes - like pulling a sicky
