He wasn't getting a game for Villa 3 years ago who were in the lower half of the EPL.

There's no chance a Premiership team goes for him now given that he's regressed.

You can't just sell 15-20 guaranteed goals from the left wing and expect the other boys to step up and cover that on top of their own contributions. Nevermind doing it for a pitiful 2 million.
We play over 60 games a season. Sinclair will not be on the bench especially with Weah and Burke gone.

I didn't know it was them that was in for Sinclair. Fair play if he can get it.

He is worth shitloads more, not even a wee bit or even double.

I won’t argue with the fact at times last season he was poor but he always brings end product even when playing poorly.

He’s a class operator who is more than capable of playing as well as he did in his first season next season.

He’s in his peak years they can shove their 2 million up their *.

I like him but I'm not sure Lennon will utilise him correctly. Sinclair isn't made to be the main man, his quality in the first 18 months was positioning himself brilliantly around the obvious quality of Dembele, Robert's, Armstrong & Forrest. He was invariably the man who finished off our sweeping moves. Unless Lennon is going to play out & out attacking football he may not recover his goalscoring touch.
Also, those mentioning young Dembele as a viable option, give it a rest. The kid is 16, hes not going to be a regular next season. And you can't be expecting him to step in to fill Sinclairs shoes just yet.

With one year left on his contract and the player's form regressing every year, any decent offer should be considered. Been a good Celtic player for me but can we bring in better? I think we can!

We should not be playing Sinclair as his value whether £2M or otherwise will keep depreciating every time we play him. Get him punted and off the wage bill.

He's 30 years old so there'll be zero re-sale value for a potential buying team, and he has 1 year left on his deal. And he's clearly regressing.

£2 million is what we'd be getting.

Pre-season etc etc but I can't remember him contributing anything in his 45 minutes on the park.

I'd keep him if we can easily afford it , 60 goals in 3 seasons I think , can't be bad. Way better than Owen Archdeacon and he didnae get pelters on the Internet (granted there wasn't an Internet)

We got him for £4 million when he wasn’t a first choice pick at villa & got a fantastic return on our investment.
The guy has never as far as I know given anything less than his best & you don’t hear him moaning & throwing strops when he’s left out, he just knuckles down & fights for his place back. He is one that appreciates what we are.

His experience, stepping up when required or helping young ones is worth more than the £2 million.
His time to go will come, ask for £5million though & if met adios & thanks but only if it’s to be reinvested

Don't see why we should be in a rush to sell him.

I think his contribution gets downplayed a lot because he doesn't appear to be as devastating as he was in his first season, when he looked, appropriately enough, invincible.

But he is still contributing something in the region of 17 goals per season from the wing, as well as chipping in with assists.

We'll find it difficult to replace that level of contribution over the course of a season if we sell him.

Always pops up with a goal. Sure he scored one like that in the league at CP.

Hopefully keeps that confidence up. First time in a while I've seen him constantly taking his man on.
