    If it hadn't of been for all the nonsense before hand I think we would have walked away from this in any other scenario. Seems to be a determination to get this one concluded to save face.

    The easy solution is to go back to Motherwell and say we will give them the same money but have a proportion of it based on appearances. If Motherwell are confident in the players health and ability they won't have a problem in going with that.

    The only thing that worry’s me with any surgery is the fact he is so young and has another two years to fully develop (21) having surgery so young will deffo cause him problems and a weakness long term.

    I’ve really got a bad feeling about this deal now.

    Unless we renegotiate the fee and get it knocked down significantly and his wages then it’s a no brainier to walk away.

    Exactly. A player apparently carries an injury that is severe enough to make him fail a medical, after playing without issues the last season- yet known sicknotes passed that same medical. Wouldn't an injured knee hurt like *, and prevent Turnbull from playing?
    Looking for any doctors here to clarify how this can be.

    Insane conspiracy theory incoming.

    Dermot Desmond got fed up with Lawwell's transfer dealings, and realized the fans could turn on the club with a rotten transfer window coming, so he decided to strip Lawwell of any authority on transfers by bringing in a DoF (Hammond), even if on a trial. Hammond, coming from England, isn't too bothered by spending fairly big money on players the club wants. So, he pushes the Turnbull deal through after the initial stall. PL is * off though that the piggy bank lid isn't his anymore, and decides to pull connections to get a doctor to make something up so that Turnbull fails a medical.

    Ready for a straightjacket or pelters.

    Unsure as to why we would buy a player who is injured. We did the same with Jozo and he had a broken leg which strangely went undetected throughout a full medical.

    We need to stop signing players who are injured and who can in an contribute from day 1. We have huge qualifiers first and foremost and as much as it pains me to say it i fear that this season is going to be a title race.

    After his first initial knee ligament injury it was discovered that he had a fracture in his right knee and had been playing on it for six weeks. He missed the majority of the first season because of it
