Also cumbernauld is only 5.4 miles from the East end so of course you will hear Glasgow accents

Nut Im sorry...but its still unnacceptable. There should be proper accent enforcement implemented in this country. Its getting out of hand with the Glasgow accent. They are at it in Kilmarnock aswell. Nowhere near Glasgow....stop talking like that

This is true if your talking about the furthest West point of Cumbernauld...i.e next to Moodiesburn. But the furthest East point i.e the Castlecary end is miles and miles away from Glasgow

15.6 miles according to Google maps

Total miles away....stop with the accent

Nuisance calls from twats at Total Energy.
Repeatedly calling my mobile even though demanded they stop and telling them they are in breach of GDPR.
Just reported them to ICO demanding recompense and that they are punished.

It matters because its important to the future of the world. People should not be allowed to just cut about all over the world speaking in whatever accent they feel like. That leads to accent anarchy and just total public disorder.

Pick an accent any accent and just go about talking like that like its acceptable. Seems to be allowed in Cumbernauld. This typa * needs to stop. No more accents without acceptable reasons for having them.

Cumbernauld is a Glasgow overspill built in the 1970s, Bonnybridge is a part of Falkirk that was established long before that.

Source: I work in Cumbernauld and live in Bonnybridge.

Also no-one would ever say "I'm going inty the toon" in reference to Cumbernauld as there's * all to go to. Teuchters in Bonnybridge do mean Falkirk when they say "I'm going inty the toon".

Why would a priest from Cumbernauld say Mass in Latin? Latium is even further away from Cumbernauld than Glasgow is!

Nothing normal about Bonnybridge. Teuchter basturts.

There's places much further out than Cumbernauld that speak with Glaswegian accents. Carluke, Wishaw etc.

But its the sheer bastardry of Cumbernauld that just * you off. Just build a whole Stalin Communist Russia style housing scheme...in the middle of an otherwise no bad area of the country. Then get a crowd of hoolits in that just start talking Glasgweigan and the whole rest of the surrounding area is supposed to accept that......Just Naw......* off ya shower of weegie Ned *

There are slight differences in the way people from Glasgow/Paisley speak to those from Port Glasgow/Greenock but even in Motherwell/Wishaw it's all quite similar, only minor differences.

When you go to the likes
of Falkirk,Stirling,Kilmarnock and Ayrshire it's noticeably different.
