    Which in itself is a problem - I'm sure he had weeks/months of being fit under Rodgers/Lennon and hasn't had a sniff, in a period in which we had one fit striker.

    I dont have high hopes. Hope to be proved wrong.

    They way his previous club and fans spoke about him he seems like a good guy and is a hard worker and well liked. He also looks like he knows his way to goal and can header a ball. Im quietly confident he will make a contribution this season

    Agreed I wouldn't punt him without giving him more time, so that was a bit harsh but I def have my doubts. Hopefully I'm wrong as we badly need a target man type.

    His finish looks sharp, but his anticipation and movement as soon as the ball goes left,to get into the box is more impressive for me. What we lacked a lot last season. Someone * bent on getting on the end of crosses.

    Why are people calling for his head already? He played 7 mins ffs how long did it take Hartson to get up and going?

    The likes of Rasmussen, Balde, Miku, Lassad, Cole, Richards, Bangura all got a load of games before they were considered flops. What's the difference here?

    I still reckon Rasmussen wasn't given a far shot.
    Not played in the correct system, similar to Tommy g for me.

    Guy was not the most active team player, but always found himself in and around the penalty spot, was crying out for a proper old school striker partner. We never really game him one.
