Right just had I thought from nowhere, somebody send this message to the Board,£48million,that should be the fee end of. For some reason it sits up right.
Come on though KT please stay, just think of total lack of atmosphere at this Gooner Club and that is when it is at its best.
If it was me I would give KT £40 k a week to stay.

If there was ever a transfer where Lawwell needed to play 100% hardball and hold out for a massive sum it's this one - we're under no pressure to sell, he's integral to the team and it seems like a lot of big clubs want him. The only reason he's stayed at Celtic this long is because he's one of us.

We'll never get a huge transfer sum like this for a full back again for a long time.

If he goes for anything less than £50m I will genuinely feel short changed. But then I wouldn't sell at any price..

Transfer centre was on and the guy they had spoke well of the club was really surprised for sky sports standard said celtic are right to want more than what's offered saying the fact our players win trophies and experience European football provides value for money and name dropped vvd wanyama forster even dropped kayals name and pukki praised our recruitment strategy.... Have to say though he must not be paying attention to last 2 windows

    Hail Hail

The 'board', in general, are paid a pittance each of about £25/30k PA for the most part with about £250k in bonuses/costs. Pete is the ONLY high earner and the Shareholders last year received about £500k, from memory - so no we won't go bust paying that obviously. You are aware of this aren't you ?

Well that ends that then they can't offer more than 18 million and only offering a 70 grand a week... Its not really enough to make him leave just now a don't think

I honestly fear this coming season if we sell KT. I don’t see us bringing in anyone who could lace his shoes with the shambles of not having a head scout in place and then having someone come in for the summer to help with players (who’s track record is patchy)

Unless we get daft money, something over 35/40 million we need to tell everyone to * off.

Arsenal are right as * and they will do business like Lawwell and up third offer little by little.

    McFadden saying he won’t leave.

Papers now saying £18m plus a few development players on loan and serious add-ons

I hope he goes to Napoli or some other good European team when he does leave although like most Scottish boys he’ll be dreaming of England with its global appeal and money.

I highly doubt he is dreaming of it. But regardless Arsenal is a better move than Napoli.

Serie A just doesn't hold the same appeal and they probably wouldn't pay the money for him.

If the players were permanently transferred to us (Bielik + a RB like Jenkinson/Tutu), then it would be okayish.

He’s already achieved basically all his Celtic dreams. I think playing down south being seen on tv weekly by the world plus securing his family’s future for generations would surely appeal.

Napoli are a better team than Arsenal with a better manager currently. London is a * of a lot safer and cleaner than Naples but for 60+ grand a week any city can be nice. Serie A is also coming back up again, I don’t expect Juve to be quite so dominant with Napoli their biggest challengers. Would be a great challenge for Tierney.

Had a look on one of their forums and there is a Celtic fan posting.

He is slagging off Scott brown competing him to Lee Cattermole! What a *. Riddy!

He is saying that 25 million is plenty and licking their arseholes. * Baw Bag
