If crystal palace are holding out on 50m for van bissaka not even 1st choice full back for England u21s surely kt has a minimum value of 60m considering all he’s won and experience at European and international level.....regardless I would be gutted to see him leave...hopefully this just all goes away...

Probably worded it wrong. I didn't mean never to sell any players to make a large profit, I meant that we should be adding quality first to make sure we qualify for the group stages, then if the right offer comes in then we can sell.

London is a shithole. Ok, not when you are filthy rich but then even Tajikistan would be a cool place to live.

The money is * a lot of stuff, but something tempting is his development. Any good footballer will have the ambition to be the best player possible and surely it is doubtful how good he can become playing against Kilmarnock, alongside McKenna, Turnbull and whatever other dudes we sign, coached by Neil Lennon. If we at least tried to be the sort of club Ajax is, he would certainly never leave.

Aye we should offer KT 80 or 90k a week, stick Cal Mac on similar, offer Rogic 50k, Give Forrest 75k, Bain 30k, Give Eddie 60k, Griff can have 45k and tell Turnbull its not gonna be 12k a week its gonna be 30k and on we go with everyone else ..... as that's what a real ambitious club would do ... well til we went bust anyway :giggle1:

The money might be a factor, but I think his main reasoning would be self-development.

He's already won everything he can here, achieved a treble treble and played against the same opposition at the same stadiums at least 3 times a season.

He'll always be a celtic fan, but playing alongside and against better players is probably what would drive him. Arsenal would likely get European football too. different if it was just to play in the preniership with someone *, but arsenal arent a Southampton or Norwich calibre.

I would 100% stay for the ten and mabye angle to take over captaincy for a year or two after Scott Brown has retired.

Im not entirely on board with this idea that nhe will regress or stall his development here. It was a different era but Dalglish didnt leave celtic till he was 26, Charlie Nichloas left at 21. Whos development stalled more?

    bet you would...

see if someone earning 20k a week for a few years can't make that last the rest of their lives or live comfortably from it, they're greedy *.

No less than 40 million, add ons, and a 25% sell-on clause. And thats being generous. Thats what the * down there pay for players off of each other, so they can pay the full * whack!!! How much did man utd pay forLuke Shaw, out of curiosity?
Prices these days, £40 million would be a steal for Tierney. Young, going to improve, captained club and country already.
People saying £25 million are mental. Just because thats what the EPL * value our players at, doesnt matter!! * OFF *!!!!
Hope to * he stays and i think he will. He's not goni miss out on 10 in a row, really cant see it

He's signed a 6 year deal worth £20k a week. That's not including any bonuses. So a minimum £6m contract. He could stay for another 2 years, lead us to the 10 and then go down to whoever in the premiership and still make double that in a wage. He'd have made £2m off the club by that point. Absolutely farcical to suggest you couldn't be set for life off of a £20k a week contract.
