    That's a rip off bill if you ask me . If you weren't under pressure to stay at a social event ( like a wedding or similar ) , why did you not just bail out for a drink at a reasonably priced bar nearby ?

    Was in rural Norway last Easter and it was under £7 a pint (Mack , Tuborg)

    And not even a bowl of peanuts. I was gonna take the Mrs in here couple of weeks ago but think I’ll body swerve. Honestly Belfast city centre is * scandalous prices and I remember saying about a year or so ago to a friend that Belfast was more expensive to go out than Dublin and he laughed. Went to Nile Rodgers concert in Waterfront last Wednesday and stopped at the YARDBIRD below the Dirty Onion. Swear on my life 2 pints of Heverlee and 2 strawberry cocktails that look threw together and Mrs said wasn’t much alcohol in them. 4 drinks £44. I didn’t tell her until next day.
