They have a cheek offering that. I would loved to have taken the call and laughed down the phone. Who do they think they are, *. I think Celtic would be getting a lot of season books handed back also whatever the sale.

Had a wee peek on their boards there.

Have to admit... I do feel a great swell of pride when these supporters of "big clubs" from BorisJohnsonville covet our talent.

It would appear the majority Arsenal fans have looked at the likes of Vic and VVD and seen that Scotland is actually no barrier to talent and its better to get in quick before the price doubles or quadruples after a couple of season down in lala land. Theyre absolutely * desperate to land KT. I mean DESPERATE. This in spite of their "scotland is a shithole"/ the scottish Prem is a pub league" patter.

What would be even sweeter would be that they dont * have the funds to buy him and realise they cant actually afford a player from aforementioned "shithole"... and to watch him go somewhere else for even more.

    *.

25 million is a joke as well he on par with Andy Robertson and to land him would cist more we don't need to sell so why should we accept 25 million

I’ve got the fear that the board are going to try and offload him this summer.

Anything less than 30/35 million will be criminal, plus and sell on fee as well.

Sell for 25mil+ and keep Jonny Hayes at LB all season. It's the Celtic way.

We wont see a penny of the money reinvested if he goes

We shouldn't even be contemplating selling him this season. There is a major overhaul required in the defence as it is with a first team right back and CB already required, if we try to incorporate a new LB at the same time it is just asking for serious trouble.

No doubt if we don't qualify for the CL though the board will look at selling him anyway. Probably on the last day of the transfer window with no one else brought in. It seems to be how we do business of late.

If we sell Tierney I will rob Mrs Heggarty next doors bed sheet from her washing line, write a message on it and protest at the stadium.

Who’s in? Mrs Heggarty has about 4 bed sheets out the now.

You could also say we have done it every year we haven't qualified for the CL in the last 3 years. If you are actually taking it literally.

If KT wants to go, he will go. We know how much he loves the club, the supporters, in fact he is still one. But as a top class player, he will still want to improve and take on bigger challenges. Anybody at the top of their profession would want that. Money isn't everything they say, Broony is the example of that, winning things is more important to him.
But it's all about the board. £30M bid from Arsenal and he is off. The board rubbing hands, no need to invest in the team for Europe as that's CL money for one player. Shareholders happy, Johnny Hayes slips into left back, 19 year old prospect brought in on loan to cover.
I am going to sound contraversial in saying this to most people but in the current climate KT would be a mug to turn down the sort of money and platform that will be on offer if the likes of Arsenal come calling. The way the club have conducted themselves over the last transfer windows, lack of ambition, not investing in the team etc etc etc. Let's face it love or hate Rodgers, Kt, Cal Mac, Forest even Bronny all progressed as players under him. KT will still want that progression and will prob feel we are not offering him that at the moment. It may well turn out we will bring quality in but more likely we will have better quality leaving. Some of the players have worked their balls off for the last 3 seasons, Treble Treble including an Invincible season. They may well feel they have earned the big money move, KT included.

I still think its brilliant that video when he gets Nakamura's boots. What a grin to have on your face!!

There's another one outside Hampden after we got beat off Ross County in Lennon's first season in charge. He's standing with his da and his da is total raging and ranting at the guy with the microphone.....pointing to KT who looks about 12 at the time and shouting "this is the future of Celtic....no that lot...."

    He was right

Can't see him leaving this window, we already need a LB as it is. Really can't see the club bringing in 2.

I'd be ashamed of the club if they countered a £15m offer with £25m.
