    But that makes too much sense.

    The more discernable reailty is that Lawwell is waiting on that transfer money to fund incoming transfers, leaving the scrooge mcduckian vault untouched... only for us to lose him on the last day of the window for a tidy sum with no time for a replacement, ultimately followed by the usual pap about "circumstances".

    Reckon the club are waiting for the u21 tournament to finish. See if he has a decent game or two and then punt for good money.

    If he doesn't, he goes unnoticed and we get whatever we would get last week.

    But we shouldn't be waiting on this deal to be able to make 3 or 4 of our own.

    We should be making the deals we need to now, and if we get money from ntcham, that covers the outgoing. If not the players are in to make the champions League and that covers it.

    I like Henderson a lot and believe he’ll be class in a few years but we’ll get absolutely nowhere selling players like Ntcham and throwing young guys to the wolves as their replacement.

    Hendo should be supplementing our first choice midfield this year. Games here and there and allowing others a rest at times. If he then kicks on and proves himself, that’s when he can be deemed a first pick.

    I'm now turning against the idea of selling him. Very highly doubt we have any replacements lined up, so it would just downgrade the squad.

    As I said last week I think for some reason we are waiting to sell him before we buy anyone which begs the question why? Surely that can’t be the case!
