You’re not allowed to talk to players without a club’s permission.

I don't think one person has. Quite the opposite.

It isn’t the agents fault. He acts on the players behalf and under his instruction.

Dreading the thought of him and Mcginn tearing it up in the EPL next season hopefully this boy flops.

Thank * for that. We want 9 in a row, no 9 points behind. Hes *. Another Jack hendry. Couldnt take the pressure, didn't believe he could break into first team squad shows his weak mentality.

Agent aside, to play devil's advocate how is this any different to the mcginn transfer?

Was he not just as public about his concerns on being a first team player for us?

Would have been nice to see him signed but ultimately it's money that needs spending in more priority areas first before guys like him are signed for that type of transfer fee.

We coughed up the money that Motherwell wanted and offered him, by all accounts, good wages.

Celtic come out of this with no flak whatsoever from me.

    Apart from the tweets.

    * paying a guy with one decent season at Motherwell wages that would put him alongside our top earners, if that's true. Hardly a massive loss missing out on him. Just hope we have another goalscoring midfielder lined up due to Rogic missing large parts of the season.

That's unfortunately the way every club is going. Barca tweet that certain players are back in 'light training' when they've been out for 2 days. Cringe as * but the way of the world now, it's an attempt to give fans what they want - direct information from source.

I expect them to tweet *, think that transfer one was a bit far though. That could have come out in a press conference when pushed for an answer after the move failed. Some things should be kept in house.

Should invest in a shredder as well.

Shredder would be a complete waste. Theres plenty of trust worth security and cleaners around. Pay the wages for them.

Roger Hannah on Clyde 1 last night said effectively that’s what has played out and Celtic surely knew there would be big issues with other current players if they had granted Turnbull the money that was offered as they could justifiably knock Lawell’s door asking for just as much if not more, the damage that could have been caused by this potential transfer was simply not worth it for someone as unproven as Turnbull and in truth it’s a mystery why it was allowed to linger on as long as it did considering what we now know for sure re wages
