Yep it's looking like it's done..

Broony was talking about him glowingly earlier and I thought surely he wouldn't be doing that after he did it with McGinn..

    Probably be announced tomorrow..

I wish I could warm to the idea and say let’s see what happens. The agent has * about from the start, again. He has held Celtic to ransom due to the MCGinn non signing I’d assume probably along with seeing Celtic as a cash cow. Touting him round clubs down south and verified by Wednesday and some football writers. Dragged the deal into public domain and Celtic decided to keep the fans updated. The lad himself has appeared not too bothered about his big move as he was seeing out his holidays and apparently knew nothing about all this commotion. I’m assuming he holidays at the bottom of the ocean or mars. And no way could I see an agent doing all this shenanigans without his client knowing. Now he is back in Scotland he will have a wee lie down and a think because he might not play all the time. We signed Ntcham from City for £4.5m and he didn’t cement his place or receive guarantees, he put in the shift.

Its nothing to do with Mcginn, if anything he has more likely used Mcginns success as leverage for holding out for the money from down south.

In any case, there hasnt been a direct quote from Turnbull and so you do not truly know how much can be attributed to him.
Its worth noting that the agent Liam O Donnell, is the agent of Stuart Armstrong also, who put off contract negotiations with us in favour of a move down south.

Its no secret we have money in the bank, but that doesnt mean we are going to write blank cheques. We have a big rebuild to navigate this summer.

Again, not one direct quote from either Turnbull or his agent to suggest that they dragged anything out in public. Naturally, news of the contract offer would permeate into the media through sources with connections to the clubs. The statement released by us was unnecessary and lacked professionalism, in my opinion.

To tout a player around is naturally what an agent does for a player. The decision of who the player wants to play for still comes down to them. If he wants to be here, he will be.

Again, depending on what info you read, he did actually cut short his holiday and completed a medical.

Im not saying Turnbull is blameless, he is a 19 year old lad who is on the verge of a life changing decision.

But id imagine that things would have went a lot smoother had he not been on holiday when the offer had initially been made and if he does sign with us and did want the move all along, then you might see a change of his representation.

IF... the kid signs then in the interests of Celtic we "move on" from the drama. Clean slate.

Like others, i refuse to believe that he just sat there on a sun lounger giving his agent carte blanche to wallop himself about england and scotland like a * cockroach.

If he signs, and does his job, then bygones.

BUT, before he puts pen to paper an addendum should be added that reminds him of a code of ethics, expected decorum as well as making him fully resposible and liable for the future actions of his agent.

Obviously any enforcement would be redundant but it would be prudent to let this little * know that if his agent starts flapping his gums then it should be turnbulls teeth that get kicked in... metaphorically of course.

We need to lay the law down on these * roaches.
