he wasnt here at the time of negotiating he was on holiday , if he signs early next week , asking his agent to step is probably what hes done, i dont think the player has been the problem here , his agent AND the players whereabouts at time of talks appear to have been the biggest issue

 

Ewan Henderson is possibly a better player anyhow!

 

In the modern world tho, his agent could have instantly contacted him.. He's probably let the agent try and get the best deal for him and he's * up the negotiations or maybe we have increased what we were willing to pay. Who knows, but nobody comes out of this looking that good..

There is no getting away from the facts here , the agents job is to get the best deal, also good for them , but if anyone believes the player is lying on a beach letting the agent pull the strings without his knowledge or input then that is totally bonkers ,he will be aware of every move and manipulation of fact to pressurise us into giving more than we bargained for .

 

Then he hits a bad run and it will be brought up by some no doubt.

if its a boys holiday i hope he was lying rubber somewhere and unable to know what a phone is...i get your point though but if he has stepped in and said he want to sign for us then for our 1st offer like people wanted , personally myself i cant see a 19YO asking for £20k a week, i think thats came from agent greed

 

Holiday or not, if your agent is conducting the Biggest deal of your career you would be 100% contactable.

He obviously knew what offer was on the table and had a hand in it not being accepted. His agent isn't exactly going to knock it back on his behalf if he has every intention of signing it.

 

Agent probably hoping our interest would spark a bigger deal from England, can afford to gamble once as its early in the window. If its not done early next week we should walk away.

 

its his agents best interest to get the best deal for him , he got the offer then went down south trying to get a better one but ultimatley the decision in turn lies with the player , if he wants to sign for Celtic he will. thats where i think the take it or leave it from celtic came in

 

Agents can talk players into refusing saying they will give you more and the the offer is poor. Then Celtic say no and the player then has to stand in. He maybe thinks good offer when he hears others eRnt far less but got seen at Celtic such as Wanyama and VVD. He would have been aware but the agent on control.

 

If his agent went rogue, against the wishes of Turnbull, then he'd have been sacked by now.

 

Players have a right to want to maximise their earnings. If he thinks he's getting big bucks down south then fair play to him. Could turn out to backfire massively on the lad if it doesn't happen though

Get him to *. Always hated Viduka because of his shenanigans pre transfer and this * is in the same boat. Half a season at Motherwell and we have a diva. Even if he signs and becomes a superstar he will always be a * to me.

I also hate the name Turnbull, every Turnbull I've known has been a * *...any Turnbulls on the forum, I make no apologies as you are probably a *.

 

Hence why i said possibly, going by turnbell who's had the game time and coped well you'd imagine hes the more accomplished player for his age but with Henderson he looks the part but hasn't been tested in the spl yet so hasn't had the time to show it consistently, my thoughts and hardly the most contradictive post mate, calm your wee self down.
