I always rated him defensively tbf, to me he always tracked back well and was difficult to beat.

Sinclair worked with Rodgers more and couldny keep weans out a close.

Now he can get off his * and not be fixing his hair while waving at the referee who has his back to him. he couldn't do that before. And if you honestly think the only way we can improve set pieces is to buy in players specifically for that, I doubt we are going to be able to change each others opinion on coaching.

To me he always tracked back well, it's why even since he first started playing for the club he was always one of the players left to defend at set peices. It's not just that he has pace but he could be relied upon to do the defending, teams for example would never leave Raheem Sterling back or now we wouldnt put Mikey Johnston back.

If Rodgers got Sinclair or Roberts to defend well i'd have been surprised since its just not natural to them and they don't seem to have the desire to do it.

He used to not have as good an engine as he does now or since about 2015 but part of that was he was often injured and also was only 20-23 at the time.

If set piece routines were feasable every team would do them, you'd need to learn probably 5 different routines and mix them up all the time - probably have to change the hand signal every game as well so team didnt know what we were planning. Players just wouldn't remember them, it would be a waste of time and depending wether we played against zonal or man marking certain ones wouldn't work against certain teams.

We were * at corners as we only had Boyata who was good in the air. If we had Boyata, Van Dijk, Mulgrew, Wanyama and Samaras and were scoring from 4 corners a season then something would be wrong(probably the taker) although if we had those 5 in our team we'd probably score 10+ per season from corners even if Craig Gordon was taking them.

I'm not talking about routines, I'm talking about coaching them to be able to take corners that don't hit the very first defender, or barely hit the ground before going out the other end of the park for a throw in.

Smoke screen to distract fans from selling Ntcham for lower than market value and then not reinvesting the cash and penny pinching over the likes of Turnbull.

That's quite the wee tale you've spun yourself. You can't beat making up a doomsday scenario and then making up the catastrophic fallout from that made up scenario.

As a tactician Henke doesnt seem to be up to much.

But certainly as a coach I believe he can really offer something. I mind wee maloney saying while they were both here that Henke took him under his wing and stayed behind with him after training to work on his techincal ability.

You cant put a price on that type of knowledge or dedication.

Did fans not also run on the pitch & threaten him & his boy? Why would you go back a second time. Either Henrik was pish or the club didn't back him with finances.

He didnt relegate them. The team was horrible. To the point Jordan Larsson went from his first game to star of the team in less than a season. Helsingborg is in an economic crisis and badly managed for a while. Outside the swedish national team's captain, who plays for them out of love, the team sucks really bad and the sacked manager has always stated his goal was nothing more than not getting relegated. But i do agree this appointment is a bad idea for everyone involved
