If he signs for a lower league club for more cash it will leave a wee stain on his not even started career, some clubs already will think twice

Let’s not be foolish the agent looks like he used Celtic to flush teams out!

That's nonsense. Motherwell (thought they were) selling their biggest and brightest prospect in a long time to a rival team. It's absolutely understandable them tweeting and explaining their reasons for that (huge amount of money for him etc). If Celtic sold our best young prospects to other teams in the SPL our fans would expect the same kind of explanation for that decision. It's our Twitter handler who's played a complete redneck, not Motherwells.

Wherever he goes, it's not a position we need to fill so who cares? Why 65 pages on him? Like is he really that good? Although Sheffield doesn't suggest he is lighting the world on fire

Ffs Motherwell have a plastic pitch now? How long have they had that? Wish the SFA could use TV money to help teams invest in a 4G or advanced pitch. The low quality skews too much for and against teams home and away.

If he goes to the championship I hope he fails miserably. Bitter? Just a bit :)

A lot of hysteria over this. Either way I’m not too worried. I’d like us to sign him but if he doesn’t then it’s not disastrous.

Rags now claiming his agents knockback is about "who is offering the best for his development"

Which is obviously lifted from the rumors he wanted BOTH 20k a week and a first team guarantee.

The absolute neck on this kid and his agent is truly frightening.

Agree but i think we need to put a deadline on this the qualifiers are just round the corner and we need to be concentrating on the positions we badly need . We need cbs rbs before we look at anything else its been the same for the last 2 seasons , we have to get those positions filled with quality then have a look at other areas

I remember when we signed brown and at that time we all new he was a player we hated to play against, this kid had a decent season but he’s never stood out the way Brown did.
I hope our efforts are more on julien, Kalas Gumny and a striker

Aye I was wondering cause surely it would've been talked about, @wulliebad you've got some explaining to do

Ooft if he was a young Broony Sheffield would not have a look in, that Broony is top flight material, he was sooo fast

If it is infact who is best for his development then it is obvious got to be us. Look at forrest , mcgregor , ajer , johnstone , armstrong , edouard , tierney , some have been at celtic from yourhs some have came in signings but they have been given a platform to improve, if its about development then still a chance for the boy if its about both money and development then not interested as if he develops he would constantly want wage increases or would be off at first chance he got

Is it possible he's looked at our overcrowded midfield squad and thought he's never going to get a steady run of games?
