Heard somewhere else it's because celtic want 3 year deal with option for four whilst agent won't budge on just the 3.... Celtic when they sign a a player want at least two good seasons b4 they sell on so a 3 year deal wouldn't work

Given the fact he hadn't even looked at applications made by other individuals his intention was clearly always to give Lennon the job. With that in mind why was he sitting on his hands and not starting the process of finding a HoR?

If 20 k was quoted then they have used us again just like the * with mcginn last year now the agents have a valuation and will hope team cones in for him and he won't get the 20 k either... The fact the asked for that means they were never serious or interested

They might be hoping if he stays at Motherwell (and impresses) that an English side will come in during January and give him the crazy 20K. If hes not that fussed about Celtic he can ask for something crazy like the 20K speculated and see what happens gambling that he'll get the lucrative English move in January.

 

Liam O’Donnell is someone we should stay away from.

His whole aim to picking up young kids from Scotland and Ireland and trying to get them down south as quickly as possible for as much money as possible.

There’s no thought about what’s best for the players career or any sort of plan.

 

This agent honestly thinks we’re going to give Turnbull £20k a week. This Liam * can * right off.

 

Feels like there will need to be a significant failure to instigate change.

Transfer leaks, job offers in showers, boasts that we dinghied all applications, players finding out manager offer on social media, 1 week wait to confirm if the offer has been accepted, being held to ransom by a 19 year old from Motherwell...and tweeting about it.

Absolutely * tragic.

 

I'd pull the offer and move on - he obviously doesn't want to move here.

At least Turnbull has played some first team football, but this reminds me of the "big shots" in the English Premier League reserves that are on £30k pw without playing 10 senior games - agents running the show and making wonderkids out of u18s reputations.

Yep. This is where the frustration is. No just the fact we are being mugged by some spotty wee gimp on a painter's wage but one constant flop or embarrassment after another..

Looked promising starting our early business like this but it's completely backfired. They're playing up and it isn't all our fault but the tweet is basically like a spoilt kid no getting their own way and lashing out..

I don't see major changes behind the scene's unfortunately under Lenny. It's one of the reason's I think Lawwell was desperate to finally get him in..

Well the reality is it’s only speculation and there doesn’t seem anything concrete to back it up...a bit like someone saying in an earlier post he would rather play for Barnsley than Celtic so he should * off.

I don’t get a good feeling about the way this is developing but until all the facts emerge I will reserve judgement before slaughtering Turnbull and his agent
