If it's true, it'd be yet another embarrassment.

Club saying we’ve made a decision and it’s upto the player if he wants to join and not his agents.

    Fair play.

Would cancel the deal , he either wants to sign or not , would probably be making 10x his salary , if he is money orientated then dobt want him near the club , no player is bigger than the club

Well * me. I don’t know what to think. Unlike the McGinn situation I believe the club isn’t at fault unless we * around with what we’ve offered him. Don’t feel like it’s the boys fault. Think it’s his agents at fault here. Big risk from them as no one else out-with us has had a bid accepted and unless a club matches our bid which if the Toulouse is right is £3 million with add ons I don’t see him leaving down south as no English team for me will pay £3 million plus for a 19 year old in the Scottish league who hasn’t been capped yet.

Shambolic from others perspectives not ours.

We moved quickly, matched their valuation.

Not much more the club can do.

if and it’s a big if we offered him utterly * wages then the board need to get tae *.

If we have offered him a fair deal something like 8k-10k a week and they have knocked it back then he needs tae get tae *.

Him and his agent, yes he looks a talent but he hasn’t had a full season playing in the top flight yet and just cause the reported fee is 3 million doesn’t mean he is a 20k a week player.

The bottom line is if we want players who are in demand, we need to pay similar to what other teams will.

We cant always rely on players being celtic through and through and wanting to walk to Celtic Park to sign the contract.

Having read the record article the line “was made an offer that is in line with the clubs wage structure” is more than telling. Essentially i think that they judge him to fit into a certain tier, and both he and his agents are worthy of more. Id also question when the last time that wage structure was reviewed.

It could be very damaging to us and to PL if we lose out on Turnbull

Not necessarily. If we have made Turnbull a derisory offer, the fault is ours. We have a track record of doing so, so we cannot rule that out.

At the min it's us or nobody as no other club have offered what we have.

Sounds to me that his agent has turned his head.

Well looks like it true, * him off then. Move onto another target.

Motherwell will end up accepting a lower offer now. Unlucky

The tweets from the club are highly unprofessional.
