After watching the ‘Sunderland Till I Die’ documentary on Netflix, I kind of got that idea.

Granted, Sunderland are a *-show of a club these days but for a team that was playing in the EPL only a few years ago, everything seemed so unprofessional and unsophisticated in the way the club was run.

 

That's why they leaked this. They have been at Lawwell for months to get a new one since the one he picked up from the barras broke. This was all done to force the issue.

so we have someone at the club is a sevco agent and remember team leaks two months ago so someone who maybe high up in the club .

 

We've always been quiet about our targets so this all seems so strange. Also it's like a tsunami of negativity surrounding the club just now. The links to scandal, the BR saga, the circumstances around the NL signing and now leaked documents. No one would believe that on the back of a triple treble and going for 9 in a row we would be facing trouble on all fronts. You can see our enemies all going for the jugular. To crown it all the club is starting to look like it's devoid of ideas on how to continue with our success on the park. I have a bad feeling about all of this and I hope that I'm wrong. It just might be that we need a new man at the top to give this club fresh impetus in going forward.

 

if the document is true then we should worry as the names on it dont fill me with confidence for next season and said for years we need a change at the top if we want to progress in europe .

 

Think it is possible that it was meant to be leaked , everyone always goes on about lawwell penny pinching and so on , could it be a ploy to get fans thinking aw well they are looking at targets of a decent calibre but i can understand why they are no getting them taking pressure of the board

Can't say I'm overly surprised.

Just the latest embarrassment in a spectacularly long list of amateurish * ups.

Filing away managerial applications without looking at them.
Offering the job to Lennon in the showers at Hampden.
Offering the job to Lennon at all.
Limiting scouting ambitions to League 1 and other English dross.
Constantly failing to captialise from a position of unparalleled strength.
The Dembele and Boyata fiascos.
The John McGinn farce.

Absolute * tinpot.

 

The more I think about this, the more embarrassing it is. A document outlining your transfer plans being leaked, all of our rivals now know who we are after.

I can’t help but think this is going to be a huge hinderance. There’s going to be an investigation to contend with now as well as trying to manage our transfer dealings.

The document was dated 2nd April so targets may have changed but if some of them are still active targets then we need to make our moves ASAP.

 

well at least we now know , they do have meetings about targets … thats something .

Aye well out of date is celtic speak for “minute congerton * off that list was ripped up”

 

This is Celtic we are talking about, during a time where we are in a position of strength and can go on to bury our opponents by doing 9 in a row.

We are thus taking the cheap option here. We have got rid of Congerton, but not before he supplied us with an indepth and robust list of transfer targets and weak points in our squad. With this list, we do not need a scouting team or head of recruitment - will save us a few quid and we can use this highly substantial document going forward.

 

Any chance this could be Leaked by the persons in clearing out Congerton's office?

 

Mental. Itll be the same leak who is giving the team away. Great way to help us loose and the leak needs removed and never allowed inside Celtic grounds again, even as a "fan" which I highly doubt they are to be doing such things.
