    Finally was * tbh, hope Barca, Real and the likes can sort themselves out soon so we don't have to witness a final like that ever again.

    * game,and i thought spurs were absolutely *.

    Love to know what the manager said to them before they went out on the pitch?they showed no passion or enthusiasm and looked like the were playing a pres season friendly.

    I cant see them getting to a CL final again anytime soon and surely they could have shown a bit more passion last night and got stuck in.

    Any one know how many yellows were shown to spurs last night?

    I thought last nights final was quite similar to ours last week in the lack of intensity on both sides. They were more like pre season games.

    Disagree that Liverpool were poor. They executed their game plan to near perfection.

    Liverpool were poor, almost every single one of their players admitted it.

    I thought Liverpool were poor in an attacking sense, they never played with the same dynamism they normally showed for most of the season, but defensively i thought they were excellent and very well organised as they have been all season.

    Thought both teams looked nervous and this stopped it from being a great game, but after beating the likes of Porto, Bayern and Barca, i think Liverpool fully derserved it, also 2 CL finals in a row is mark of how good this team is.

    Agree with this, they didn’t reach their own high standards in terms of chances created, but were clinical when they needed to be and controlled the game well.

    Ajax got so close to winning the * ‘corrupt’ thing, proving an example to all clubs without the financial backing.

    I’ll admit we can’t win it, but at least we should aspire to be one of the lesser clubs financially who impress and punch above our weight. Forward thinking philosophies, progressive coaching methods, attractive football, developmental focus on the kids, sports science and all that.

    Instead, here we are hiring Neil Lennon for * sake... we’ve only got ourselves to blame looking back into the * Stone Age for answers.

    About time our fans focused on the fact that the only way we will get far in Europe is to change our ways rather than pinning the blame on other factors. But Scots football has this luddite culture anyhow, so it’s no wonder why we don’t progress as a football nation when we refuse to take outresponsibility.
