    His achievements are massively underrated, at Wycombe, Leicester and us. The game has passed him by a bit it seems, he is a bit stubborn in his own intelligence, but what a team he put together! We shouldn't have been able to compete with the cheats, yet he blew them away. We went from being afraid of playing Rangers to the whole of Europe becoming afraid of us. The only blemish on his record was an away win in the CL and that would have resulted in a better run in it.

    Extraordinary!

    Was he expected to take over in January and have them in the play offs by the end of the season?

    As far as I can remember, they were struggling in mid table and going nowhere when he went there. Granted, things didn’t exactly improve drastically, but surely he needs to be given a full window/pre season.

    On what basis has he actually been sacked?
