He was * freezing on the back of that bus yesterday!! Lol...........

 

He was great for most of the season.

I would've had Ajer in ahead of him, It's all about opinions i suppose.

 

i put him on par with armstrong was gash became good thought a bit too much about himself and became gash again

Tbf... its never good to see the back of a good player. Severly inconsistent but a player of his quality and experience would cost 10m easy.

I was just as angry as the rest of our fanbase at his behaviour at the beginning of the season. That being said, its quite easy to blame one party and not the other. The fraudulent one obviously had issues with others in the squad too, notably moussa and compper. That in no way excuses his behaviour however. The club should have came down hard on him.

So in saying that he leaves with neither my thanks nor my hatred. He did what he was paid to do 99% of the time.

I dont celebrate him leaving but he wont be missed.

BUT... if his agent, Lichtenstein, (whom boyata obviously listened to religiously) ever * has the brass neck to darken the doors of Celtic Park ever again he should be taken down an alley and * flensed.

 

Away and boil yer heed......someone who thinks its a honour does not refuse to play with some fake injury because you didn't get the move you wanted.....you left us high and dry when we needed you the most......or in short.........get *.

 

Will definitely be pulling for Union instead of Hertha in the Berlin derby next season.

Probably a minority here but i dont think he refused to play if you see him training and stuff that time he looked happy, I reckon Rodgers just threw him under the bus as a kop out.

 

Maybe there’s more to the story than we know, doesn’t really matter now.

Agreed, I think he was injured and told not to play, then Rodgers scapegoated him over the whole thing.

 

Rodgers used him as a scapegoat to take the heat off himself for losing to a * poor team we should have been beating comfortably.

 

Farewell big man. Wanted him gone but not an easy goodbye.
