Would have him as a 10 ahead of Rogic.
Can’t see him getting ahead of Forrest though.

Think he’ll end up at Leicester anyway.

Patrick Roberts was the biggest loss to Celtic during our last managers reign.
He was by far the most skillful, crafty, creative player we had. He had that classy bit of guile that no other player in the squad then or now possess. Scott Sinclair was twice the player he has been lately due to Paddy, that's important to note.
Robert's made things happen and with a powerful centre forward in Dembele, a central power runner in Armstrong & Sinclairs excellent positional instinct in the box, we were such an attacking threat.
Compare that to what we have now 15 months later?
If it's even slightly possible, at 4 million it imo could be the greatest bit of business since Larsson. That's honestly how much I value him.
Would so much soften the Moyes as manager disappointment :celt_2:

I think it was criminal from our previous management to not find a system where Forrest and Roberts could play together.

As you said, guys like Roberts are the reason why people watch football, he is lively, competent, capable of changing games around on his own. Moreover, he has charisma and the potential to be an icon. Having people like this around is as important to the future of the club as winning titles.

Did the injuries he got last season have an affect on him. After regaining fitness he struggled to get back in the team and this season struggled to make it in the awful Girona team.

Injured his hamstring before Christmas time and struggled to get back into the team, with the Girona manager claiming he thought he had better players available.

Heads been down from he left. Needs to get his career back on track and another great option for attack. His quick feet will help break down the 2 banks of defence we see week in and out CP. I hear he's drooling for Mrs Tierney's Sunday dinners.

£4m and they want £15-20m for Delph?

I can't see him going for £4m. Bargain if he does

    Difference is

Delph is an England international and a proven EPL player.

Roberts is an untried and untested player who flopped in Spain and has hardly kicked a ball in last 2 seasons.

Imagine if that * BR scuppers us for him, if we actually go for him.

I do honestly think he'll goto Prem if he has the chance to over us.

That * elected not even to give him a send off in the cup final, the wee man looked absolutely gutted on bench too.
