I think Lennon could achieve 10 in a row, after a few shrewd transfers, but going forward I'd like to see us develop the foundations and standards we've set by looking above and beyond.

Moyes doesn't have that winning mentality or experience. I'm sure he's not the worst manager, but I think better suited to a role like Steve Clarkes at Kilmarnock where he could make a mediocre team difficult to beat.

When you buy commper and musonda then don't play them then I don't blame the board for turning their backs

My only worry with Lennon getting it is he will be treated with contempt by all of Scottish football. And i mean from the terraces to the SFA boardroom. Which could make our life that bit more difficult in regards to players being cited, touchline bans, etc. Media would have a field day with all the “he brings it on himself” pish again.

By no means do I particularly want Moyes, but I do think people are overly negative about his time at Man U. They were arguably a squad that was past it's best and he was never given the funds or time to rebuild, it was always going to be a struggle not just because he was replacing fergie, but because the squad needed an overhaul, an injection of quality that other teams around them were investing in.

This last point is my worry, it's similar to us, we need a rebuild with many areas needing improved. But will the board back him...or anyone for that matter.

Lennon was a whisker away from winning a league against an EBT-enhanced Walter Smith Hun team in his very first season as manager.

If we give him the funds to rebuild the squad he'll see off Gerrard's Tribute act comfortably.

Lennon bottled that league title. We had a better team regardless of the fact they were EBT enhanced.

You’re right, players from Oldham will though.

A better team that he had built in 1 single transfer window after the shambles that was left to him by Mowbray.

We * it at Inverness no doubt but to suggest that he can't overcome an average Tribute act side over 38 games is laughable. If he gets the job then you can bookmark this post for May 2020.

Lennon took over a shambles of a Mowbray team that capitulated, he then turned it round when miles behind even given the deduction. He has been over the course and knows what the job is about, who exactly is your other realistic viable option?

Views earlier this season was that we were going backwards under Rodgers and were never going to do anything in Europe under him so would’ve got rid.

Would’ve sacked Congerton on the spot regardless of Rodgers feelings because our recruitment was an absolute riot and it was catching up on us with a massive wage bill and a squad full of dross.
