    I think if lenny gets the job even if some are not happy he would still get every ones backing.(results pending)

    Fans are split on lenny (regarding his appointment or not)and while their have been some harsh words i dont think anybody forgets the service lenny has given us.

    At the end of the day the guy has to judged on his ability to do the job(something i guess he would agree with).
    And while the results with him have been ok ,the performance,s have not been one that would fill you with hope for the coming season.

    To me its clear a lot of people on here are allowing their loyalty to lenny( because of his service to the club)to cloud their judgement on his ability to take us forward.

    Should Lennon be given the job, which looks likely given some of the things he's done or tried to with ending loans and attempting to bring Park back he will have my full support because if we can win the 10 with him at helm there will be nothing sweeter.

    However, until the board get off their * and either announce Lennon now as there is * all point in waiting this long to announce Lennon or announce a new guy after the cup final, my preference will be to get in a new guy who is better then Lennon.

    Lennon will always be hero here but his past will not dictate the future.

    Bearing in mind, if we contracted him for the 3 years as you say, if someone came in for him when we secure the 10, we could get compensation again!!!!
    PL Might be cunning & give him a 4 year contract, minimum.
