    It was reported on the radio at the time the story broke it was a non playing member of staff that reported him to Dempster leading to his suspension, so why immediately infer it was because of his relationship with his players?

    Realistically we could only offer £3m tops. Probably wouldn't even go that far seeing as we only gave Rodgers 2.5m.

    I think he's an excellent coach. His record with you guys was unreal.

    Just caught Lennon’s press conference on the news and after watching it I’m pretty certain he is getting the job.

    Instead of dismissing any talk of the job permanently, he was happy to explain why he should get the job - his title winning experience, his connection to the club, his relationship with PL and DD. I think this was his way of saying the job is his, it just isn’t his place to confirm it officially.

    Not going to entertain any other rumour now, pretty certain he’s getting the job after that. Wouldn’t have been my choice but I will back him 110 percent.

    It sounds to me like he's as much in the dark as the rest of us. He's just making it very clear to those in charge he wants it.

    Selling himself to the support because he knows the majority of us would prefer another manager.

    Regardless of what we think, the board will make the decision. And as Lennon said, he is on great terms with them.

    He might be in good terms with them for coming back to steer the ship just now but remember he also walked out on the club blame the board first time around effectively costing us CL income when ronny took over
