She always had advisors reeling her in, threatening violence and melting anyone in her way was her first instinct more than once.

Yes, to her enemies. Not to innocent people. That's the point.

If anyone watching since the start is moaning about plotholes then they're kidding themselves on. It's a show with a strong element of fantasy in it.

It may well be rushed and divided opinion, but imo, if they went on another season they could have bollocked it up a lot worse.

I think it's been great, and that episode was dynamite.

Only complaint was Cersei possibly deserved a worse fate, although maybe ironic she died underground after how she blew every * up earlier in the show with the green *.

Genuinely great scene when Varys said 'Goodby old friend' to Tyrion.

What I do know mate is I have thoroughly enjoyed pretty much all the show. It had a few slow periods, namely when daenerys was acquiring her armies, but overall I know/think it's been immense.

You can't please all the people all the time.

Think its set up for jon to kill dany next week or maybe araya will kill her. jon will take the blame as he dont want the throne will take the black and head back to the wall .i been watching some of these reaction videos this season and you can actually see the enthusiasm been ripped from them each episode this season and disbelief at how * the writing has been.
As so many have said why the * did they bring jon back he done next to nothing infact he is the marvin compper for this season

So because it’s a fantasy show it can’t have plot holes?

    Okay...

Suppose you could say Cersei's little brother did kill her in the end.

See to be honest I’m half expecting Cersi and Jamie to get up from under rubble in the final episode :giggle1:

Fair enough, but there isn't many, if any, tv shows or films out there that don't have plot holes.

Got is simply a victim of it's own, never before seen, success.

The first 4 seasons you could say are unparalleled, essential TV viewing.

However, as was evident in season 4, the moment it began to overtake it's source material, the TV writers where shown up to be exactly that.

They did not have the time, memory nor creative imagination to keep up with the lore and have it be as considered and consistent as the books and potential future books

It’s still a good show to watch, it would just be better if it made more sense.
Even the bit you mentioned- Daenerys taking time to acquire her armies- pointless now.
1 dragon was all she ever needed given that it can completely obliterate a city and all its people in half an hour.

After the last episode, it is pretty clear that if she had all three still, there wouldn't have been an episode in the first place.

Although, with what they are trying to hint at now, I think, there is certainly a way I'm which she could have kept all three and they could have gone all in on the swerve of her being the super big bad with three * off big dragons who have just obliterated westeros and it would have been far more compelling then what we are seeing now.

Final episode will be a battle between Jon and Daenerys after Jon seen that * Grey Worm murder a soldier that had surrendered.

She crucified more than 150 in Meeren, watched with a wide on when her brothers head was covered in molten gold, she wanted to raze the slaver cities to the ground when Meeren was under siege; only being talked out of it by Tyrion, burned every Dothraki khal alive in their sacred city and burned Westerosi POWs alive. She has always been a psycho, I think a lot of people just chose not to acknowledge that because most of the time the people she was murdering were *, or because they wanted her to win the throne

She crucified the masters who had crucified slaves. Her brother was a psycho who said he’d let every Dothraki soldier rape her if it meant he could be king.

She’s been ruthless to her enemies. That’s not what I’m debating.

I’ve never liked Dany, never wanted her on the throne. But slaughtering a city of innocent people has never been in her character. It’s been built up for 3 episodes this season really.

Like that quote said. She’s always been ruthless, but never a mass murderer of innocent people.

All it needed was another season and different writers.

Give everything a chance to breathe. Build Dany’s turn for a season. Let “The Long Night” last more than one battle. Show us characters for longer rather than teleport them from scene to scene

This season should have dealt with the Night King. Then another season for the Cersei/Dany turn plot.

    Putting my predictions up:

Danny to kill Sansa or Jon, potentially Tyrion too.

Arya to kill Danny, Gendry to take the throne.

I’m hoping (but it’s doubtful) for one last big battle between the north, baratheons, vale and other realms vs unsullied Dothraki and the southern punters (the sort of Arabic folk). Doubt it tho!

Wouldn’t mind seeing Sansa on the throne with Tyrion as her hand.

Just want Arya to survive. Her and Jaime were my two favourites.

I want Jon Sansa and Arya to survive but fear for them all.

If Gendry gets it (which I think is likely but him on the IT with Sansa in a free north), then Chris fae skins has came a helluva long way!
