    Gives the everything but he's so short of what's required it's laughable. Nowhere near - and I mean nowhere near - good enough for Celtic's first 11 going forward.

    Utility player? Possibly. Wouldn't be too keen on keeping him though.

    We really need to stop the signing policy of signing squad players and ones for the future, it's got totally out of hand, we need a tighter squad with the emphasis on quality not quantity.

    Trouble is we've got a heap of players on bigger wages than they will ever get elsewhere so chances are they won't want to go anywhere

    Genuinely clueless as to why he is being held up as the poster boy for our failings. Was the best player in the country when we signed him and had a horrific injury since. Been a star performer for us a few times in games like Valencia while those with many times more talent wilted or disappeared. Fair does ideally we should be signing folk who are better from other Euro leagues or whatever but can't really fault Hayes IMO.

    This always irked me about Rodgers tbh, he always preached this in interviews, yet we probably could make a whole matchday squad or more of deadwood and players we just shouldn't have on our books. Him and his daft mate who just went to Leicester want their baws toed for that. Stockpiling * that nobody else will pay their wages and they are happy to sit out their contract cause they won't get same money elsewhere.

    Playing out of position he was one of the few players to at least put a shift in. I can't say I ever wanted him here, but he should be well down the list of those to be punted.
