How many "Old Firm" games has Clarke "schooled " Gerrard in?

The crux of the issue is this:

If you were to take the league from 26th February - the day Rodgers left and Lennon took over - Rangers have amassed more points than us. I.e this hypothetical mini league was won by them. If that is not a adequate yardstick to measure Lennon’s performance by, then I don’t know what is.

Yet, we still have folk degrading Rodgers’ achievements and suggest that Lennon is a stable choice.

That is the empirical evidence, not the subjective and emotional rationale.

By my calculations on that mini league
Even before today’s game, Gerard’s team were level on points but ahead of us by 5 goals! Now it’s 3 points ahead and 9 goals better.

Cracking point that. We seem to have lost all the feel good factor we had not too long ago. Back to mediocrity like the green brigade stated on there tifo.

The only stat that matters is whoever finishes with the most points after 38 league games, trophies are not handed out on what might have beens or if's buts and maybes, the record books will show us as champions and that's all that matters.

The empirical evidence is that Lenny guided us to the title after the rat * jumped ship.

I think @Ciaran_67 has raised a fair point.

In the time he’s been here, Lennon/Celtic have been outperformed by our nearest rival.

Really think peoples opinions on lenny are based on his history with the club.
Put that aside and judge him on what we have saw since he returned.

We have been poor i really can see anyone deny this and todays result was just proof of that.

Put sentiment aside,he is not the man to take us forward which is a disappointment to most of us.

Beautiful Sunday - the IRA version
In football terms it has been a truly abysmal week.

Four Brit sides are undeservedly in the final of the two Euro competitions and Celtic have lost to the Sporting Wing of the Ku Klux Klan.

But every now and again we do need that wee bit of lightheartedness to cheer us up.

This post is the reason I smiled today.

    Thank you x

Quite worried about this. Wonder if we're even in talks with anyone and how quickly they're gonna be able to assess the squad and bring in players ahead of the qualifiers as well as putting some sort of stamp on the team. Obviously can coast the first couple of qualifiers to an extent but even now the last couple of rounds you come up against some tough sides so not ideal to be in such a big period of transition.
