He looked shocking today, I can’t believe I thought he was a player. Good luck West Brom is all I can say.

 

His workrate has declined since Rodgers left, he used to press like * but rarely done it today from what I can remember of that disaster.

 

Exciting start to his loan, useless on the whole.

Reckon he’d be a decent player if he knew how to play football.

 

If he didn't have pace he'd never have made it as a professional footballer. Genuinely seen guys at 5's with a better first touch.

 

Really need to get our scouts focused on players outwith the EPL, championship etc, definitely be much cheaper and probably much better, guys like Burke are just a waste of money.

 

My opinion went down pretty quickly. I don't imagine West Brom wanting him in the Premiership or even as part of a squad to score promotion. His touch is poor, I wish him luck but I think he will be back on loan somewhere next season and probably sold for a few million with a year left.

 

He needs a coach like Brendan to improve his technique and understanding of the game in a short time frame, not our player so not worth the hassle.

Don’t think he’s been interested since the rat left which is why Lennon hasn’t played him much.

 

This is a testimony to why we need to stop with so many loan signings. Aside from Patrick Roberts in recent times none could be said to have been a success. Benkovic looked good at the start of the season. But I have a feeling these guys are holding back....they dont want injured when they are out on loan. Burke will be the same.

I genuinely believe that in the back of their mind they do not want to * up a permanent move to a club that's going to pay more money than us, by getting injured while playing for Celtic. That means naturally they will pull out with the slightest twinge of an injury, or not give absolutely 100 percent while on the field.

Too many loan signings doesnt work.

Roberts actually put a shift in every game, and was top class at SPFL level. Benkovic looked good while he was putting himself in the shop window while playing for us in Europe, but has been anonymous a lot of the time domestically. Others like Weah, Musonda and Arzani will not have come cheap wages wise and the money would have been better spent on a permanent signing in my opinion

Imagine paying 8 or 9 mill on him as some were suggesting in Feb.

 

I was one who wanted him to sign and I was way way wrong

By * he looked promising initially but he is hopeless at this level. No finesse about him at all, no first touch.

 

Would honestly just punt him back down the road the now.

This laddie must have the best agent in football. How he accumulated his past transfer fees is beyond me. As mentioned above if he didn't have pace he wouldn't be a professional player. Can't pass, can't finish, can't head it and he doesn't have a first touch at all nevermind a poor one!
