The difference is, I am able to distinguish between the emotion of his decision to leave and his and Lennon’s performance as a Celtic manager. The former creates negative connotations but the latter is definitive, resounding success for Rodgers and regression from Lennon.

There's * on here that seem happy we lost today just to bash Lenny. Give a club legend respect.

Scott Brown won the league at Celtic Park as the song goes. We are now less well off in terms of points than we were when Rodgers left us in February. That is very damning.

Were the media quick to ask him about the sectarian singing towards him today?

He left us with 7 trophies. That's just a fact. As of today I also have some doubts about whether Lenny is the right man to take us forward; but he's still competent manager. You bring John Barnes in to see us over the line and we don't win the 8.

    He left us with 7.

The game has changed a lot since his first stint, if we can get someone in of higher calibre we should 100% go for them, squad needs a major overhaul and some fresh faces.

There’s a lot of factors to the defeat today main one being the players didn’t want it enough or turn up. Pretty much same as under Rodgers at new year, the players are tired but usually always get up for big games, don’t give a * if it was a dead rubber we should of laid down a marker today.

It's the vitriol some of our own give guys like Lenny, Lustig and Broony. Yes all three have had there day and it's maybe time for them to move on but they have been immense in their achievements and support of our club often under the most vile treatment from outsiders.

Edit * not 100% sure of what vitriol means but I think it means abuse?

Tbf he made this game as meaningless as these games get and for that he deserves some credit.

Today is a large part his fault mate, Lenny did not do good enough but injections to Rogic and * earlier on, overplaying players, not planning for the future definitely doesn’t help.

He’s a fan. And he’s certainly no reptile.

But he’s not a good football manager.

Today should be the final nail in the coffin. That huns team are nothing special yet they were comfortable winners today. It's easy to say we're missing Forrest, tierney etc but playing Johnstone at RWB and playing an unfit Lustig , who was already a weak spot? Scandalous

Hopefully your gut feeling becomes reality.

I'd be delighted to see him leave the season on a high having won the league and Scottish Cup double, but * meI'll be ompletely enraged if he is given the job after the summer.

Aye i don't want to keep repeating myself over that tactical tweak but it is genuinely one of the worst I've ever seen, genuinely..

Aye my train of thought is that many of these player's don't seem to be playing for him, to the best of their capabilities anyhow......so I'm holding on to the hope that he/they know it's gonna be another man at the helm..

Would give me comfort knowing that and explain the half arsed displays..

I think we'll hammer the diets and it'll be a fitting send off coming in and helping us win a treble..

He'll go with good wishes. If he stays and is appointed full time....it could get ugly as he's overwhelmingly no fancied by the support from what I've seen and heard. Also if it's him that's to be manager and this is just how he's got the team playing. We're in some nick..
