And you said Clarke over Lennon because Clarke did better at Killie than Lenny did at Hibs.

What the * is that indeed...

I meant Clarke. I agree today's performance was an absolute disgrace. No defending Lenny for today at all. It was the same ( better or worse can be debated) as December for me. I just don't get how we can automatically assume it will be better next time.

They both play in the same league, you do realise? Clarke did a better job with a smaller club with poorer players, than Lenny did at a bigger club with better players. In the same league.

The logic is absolutely fine there.

    Lennon or Clarke?

FFS. Neither should be managing Celtic so arguing about them is pointless.

Yet didn’t do as well as Lenny at Celtic, either last time or this.

You are picking and choosing what you want to suit an argument.

He's managed relegation bait teams and kept them up, made Kilmarnock one of the better teams in the league with absolute diddly squat to rub together. Ludicrous to use trophies as a comparison pint.

No it wasn't any better but I would expect a manager with half a brain to not play the same 2 players that were the main root of our problems the last time we played them there.

Sorry. I forgot it’s as easy for Killie to win trophies as it is for Celtic to win them.

But they should have won the league and a cup. And got to the last 16.

Until he does that with Killie, Lenny is clearly a better manager.

Is Clarke a better manager? He did * at Reading and West Brom. Steering a * team in a * league is not really a big thing in my opinion. Also as already stated he has the help of a plastic pitch.

Here’s my comparison point - Lenny is a proven Celtic manager. Steve Clarke isn’t. And has done nothing to suggest he could be.

For the record I’d prefer someone else but if it’s a toss up between the 2 there’s only 1 winner.

It isn’t, so Clarke can continue aiming and achieving top 6 finishes with a diddy club and we can go and get a good manager instead.

Thanks for clearing things up, so Lennon has about the same amount of brains as Rodgers.

He got West Brom their biggest ever points total and highest finish in the tol flight since 1981. Second season they regressed to the mean. Also took Reading to their first FA Cup semi-final in 88 years.

    Wit?

Technically Kilmarnock were the better club since Hibs came up from the Championship.

Either way, if Lennon CLEARLY isn't good enough and you think Steve greetin-face * Clarke who would bite yer baws aff to move to England with anycunt is a better manager then you're a * idiot.

Hopefully. I’ve already stated we need better than Clarke and Lennon.

We need better than both Clarke and Lennon.

Such a come down after you know who. Unfortunately.

We need to try and keep that standard.

Hibs had a far better squad than Killie. Hibs had a top 6 Premiership squad when they were in the Championship.

I’m an idiot for thinking Clarke is a better manager? No worries. I can assure you the vast majority of footballs fans in the country would agree with me. No doubt their opinion wouldn’t count though because they’re not Celtic fans.

    Regardless, neither are good enough.

Lennon and Clarke are both not what we need, hope celtic have a bit more ambition than managers in our own league.
