Lennon didn’t look interested today

 

Another of those * poor performances that have littered this season,were you watching Lawell and Desmond we need the right manager to take us forward and some new players to help him do it. The loss at the shutout on the 29th was bad enough but today has given them hope for next season when we should be stamping out that hope . The fact the league was already won doesn't mean the players can switch off like they did today

 

* tory board need to spend OUR * money now to get new players in asap for CL.but will they *.HH

 

Fuckn joke that, we had injuries but obviously the players in reserve and the manager are not good enough. That was as bad as the last game there. After this season all I want is the league * the cups.

 

Poor team selection ,zero effort appart from Hayes and Simo.

New season,new manager and 5+ signings required.
We have one chance probal'y on all our lifetimes to get 10IAR and they should be going all out to secure it ,we have the finances to do it.

I’m sure the attitude will be different for the cup final... but it’s worrying that the same players can’t raise themselves for an important ‘derby’ that (while of no league consequence) matters to the supporters.

Hopefully this is another DD Hampden moment as far as management and players go.

It's just another wake up call like the semi we lost to them that rattled DD so much into getting a marquee manager,trust me the same will happen again.Good times ahead plus our triple treble is still on

 

Lennon has done himself absolutely no favours today, you either play a full second string and accept the possible defeat at the end, or you go full strength and risk the players fitness before the cup and go for the win.

We did neither and ended up losing the game, and Lustig, and pride and bragging rights. Sorry Lenny, but for a guy who passionately hates those * you couldn't translate that into your players today and the result was * poor.

 

huns went into this game knowing they could bully us because we are on the cusp of making history and wouldn't be going into tackles baw deep. look at brown, do you honestly think he would be playing that meekly if the 3pts where important ?
of course not.
we've got bigger things on the horizon than this game.

Hope this signs the end of the ‘In lenny we trust brigade’ once and for all, new top class manager and some top class players, we will do the 10, this is hard to take today, but will be good for us in the long run, but mark my words, Lennon is not up to this!

 

We badly miss Forrest, Christie and Tierney. With such a bloated squad we should be able to cover these positions without worry, but the "second string" just don't seem up to it.

 

A lot of panic in here after that performance. Rightly so, to an extent.

We were beaten, we looked leggy and again we lacked ideas against a well-organised side who really got in our faces. It was all too passive and not enough players were willing to take responsibility.

People are saying this reflects badly on Lennon, and I get that, but we saw the same performance in December with a different manager in charge.
