It’s a disgrace the way we’re taking advantage of KT’s honesty.

Shouldn’t really be surprising given how awful we were at handling injuries in Lennon’s first time in charge.

It’s not like he’s forcing Tierney to play.

Tierney’s a man he can speak up and tell the manager he isn’t fit enough to play and wants to get the OP now if he wanted to, but he doesn’t want to as he’s desperate to be a part of the treble treble game.

He shouldn’t be playing dead rubbers though, that decision should be taken out of his hands by the manager.

I remember the last time a player went against the medical staff and manager saying he wasn’t fit enough to play :fear:

Of course Tierney wants to play as a young guy chasing trophies but Lennon is experienced enough to know that this could do long term harm to Tierney's career so all he has to do is explain this to him and tell him he's not playing the next three games and go get his op and begin rehab.

I always thought NL wasn’t mature enough to take us for the next two years. He always seem to bite and make things worse - I would go as far as to say he is the Morelos of the manager scene!

He also has a constant negative view- we were too pedestrian/sloppy/lacked intensity.

But now after the TW scenario I’m * dreading the clubs announcement of giving him the job

Down to the manager, we fans can see he is not even capable enough to be on the park. The manager should also be seeing that.

Tierney will want to be on the bench or play the final to win the Treble, manager should be saying no chance.

If I was to draw a line, where on a scale NL was (the top being a diplomat and the bottom being someone who’s reacts to silly situations)
NL is very near the bottom.

He sorted out the mess he took over from and made us a far better team who could compete in europe in his first spell.

His buys also made us tens of millions of pounds before the money made from his performace as a manager.

Give the guy the respect he deserves.

He shouldn’t be playing dead rubbers 100%.

But if Kieran and our medical team are saying he’s okay to play in the final then you can’t exactly put all the blame on the manager.

The guy I quoted was making out like Lennon was treating Tierney poorly, as if he’s not letting Tierney go get surgery just now against his will - he isn’t.

Lennon has continued to select Tierney, despite the fact that he knows that Tierney requires surgery for a double hernia. The buck stops with the manager.

Genuinely not having a go, but it's funny when we bought * under rodgers congerton gets the flak but we buy under lennon, it works out well and lennon takes the praise and not the scouting.

I don’t disagree with your first three points though it took him a few years to get success in Europe.

I held my opinions back all this time out of respect of NL - a great servant to our club - but no thanks, someone else please for the next two years.

Lenny is saying KT is 70% fit

For me, that means he doesn’t make the squad

I don't think KT will be playing but no harm in keeping them in the dark.
